The Dress to Impress KATSEYE Quest is the most involved event the game has seen in a while. Four back-to-back mini-games, a timed scavenger hunt with no speed boost, and a maze at the end that will test your patience. The rewards are worth it though: three exclusive Pinky Up cosmetics that you cannot get anywhere else. This guide covers every stage in order, with exact member locations for the hardest part.
How do you start the KATSEYE Quest in DTI?
When you load into Dress to Impress, a pop-up will appear automatically announcing the quest. To get in, hit the Teleport button at the bottom left of the screen, then select the KATSEYE Quest option on the far right of the menu.
Before you jump in, there are two things to sort out:
- Prepare an outfit in your closet. You spawn into the quest as a blank mannequin with no way to adjust your look mid-game. Load a saved fit beforehand so you look the part from the start.
- Decide on solo or co-op. Stand on the platform matching the number of players you want. Playing with others makes the timed sections significantly easier because each player's progress counts toward the shared goal.
If you fail any of the four quest stages, the game removes you and resets all progress. You start from Quest 1 again regardless of how far you got.

After the quest loads, a short cinematic plays. The KATSEYE band members have lost their performance outfits due to a flight delay, and their choreographer has gone missing. Your job is to fix both problems before the concert starts.
What happens in Quest 1: the fashion memory game?
Quest 1 is a memory challenge. Over 5 rounds, a band member walks the runway and displays three clothing items in sequence. Your task is to remember those items and match them in the correct order to pass the round.
The key here is to watch the full sequence before touching anything. Players who rush and try to select items mid-display almost always get the order wrong. Take the extra second, commit the order to memory, then select.
If you are playing with others, call out the items in chat as they appear. Having a second set of eyes on the sequence dramatically reduces mistakes.

How do you beat Quest 2: the dance challenge?
Quest 2 is the most straightforward stage in the entire quest. You take on the role of choreographer and step on glowing X marks scattered across the floor. Step on each glowing mark before the timer expires, and keep doing it until the Dance Bar fills completely.
The marks are not hidden or obscure. They glow clearly and there are no tricks here. Move quickly between them, and this stage ends in under two minutes.
Where are all 5 KATSEYE members in Quest 3?
Quest 3 is the hardest stage. You have 10 minutes to find all five band members scattered across the backstage area. Each one must be carried back to her designated glowing spot before you can search for the next. There is no speed boost, which makes solo runs tight.
Here are all five member locations, in the order that wastes the least time:
- Member 1: Turn around immediately after spawning in the backstage. There is a large black chest that glows red when you approach it. Interact with it to collect the first member and carry her to the glowing spot.
- Member 2: Face the door to the right of the spawn point and walk into the hallway. Enter the first door on your left, which leads to the makeup studio. The second member is inside.
- Member 3: Continue down the hallway past the second set of double doors (already open). A black chest sits on the right side next to a reflector. The third member is inside.
- Member 4: Cross the hallway to the storage room opposite the chest from Member 3, to the left of those double doors. Head to the right corner of the room and find a hole with a ladder. Climb down, navigate the mini obby at the bottom, and collect the fourth member.
- Member 5: Go to the very end of the hallway and down the stairs. This leads to a maze. Zoom your camera out as far as it goes for a top-down view. It makes the layout readable and saves a significant amount of time.
Random sacks fall from above during this stage and knock you back when they hit. This is especially punishing when you are carrying a member and rushing back to a glowing spot. Keep an eye on the ceiling.
How do you complete Quest 4: the recording challenge?
The final stage puts you behind a camera. Dots appear on your screen at random and you must follow them and tap when they pop. This plays out over 3 rounds, and each round requires a set number of points before a short cutscene triggers.
Once all three rounds are done, you watch the KATSEYE concert play out as a reward for your work. The quest is complete.
What do you get for completing the KATSEYE Quest in DTI?
After finishing the quest, head back to Freeplay mode and check the changing cabins. Three exclusive cosmetics are waiting:
