The Webweaver Rod is one of the most distinctive rods added to Roblox Fisch during the FischFright 3 event. It summons spider companions that actively help you fish, slows down catches, and guarantees the Webbed mutation under the right conditions. The catch: you have to earn it through a three-part quest before you can even see the purchase altar. Here's exactly how to do it.

Where do you find Webby Winston?
Webby Winston lives inside Webridden Cavern, the glowing green cave directly beneath the Halloween village in Caustic Hallow. From the fountain at the center of Caustic Hallow, head northeast until you spot the cave entrance with green liquid flowing through it. Enter, then look to the right side of the cavern to find Webby Winston. Talk to him to add the "FischFright 2026: Webby Winston" quest to your Quest Book.
The rod room is sealed behind a wall of silk until you finish all three objectives. You cannot buy the rod early, and there's no shortcut around the quest.

The quest has three separate objectives tracked individually in your Quest Book. You can complete them in any order.

Trick-or-treating all 16 houses
Each house in Caustic Hallow has a number on its door. You need to knock on all 16: 111, 234, 280, 313, 333, 375, 417, 439, 444, 477, 510, 513, 560, 606, 613, and 666. One visit per house is enough. Your Quest Book registers each as 1/1 once you trigger the trick-or-treat option at the door.
Catching Webbed fish and Cobweb Cod
Both fishing objectives are completed in the same spot: the green pool inside Webridden Cavern. Cast into the pool and you'll pull up both Webbed mutated fish (counting toward the 10/10 objective) and Cobweb Cod (counting toward the 15/15 objective). A Fish Radar can confirm you're positioned in the Webbed fishing zone. Webbed fish from other locations do not count toward the quest total.

How to get the Webweaver Rod step by step
- Enter Webridden Cavern and talk to Webby Winston to activate the quest.
- Head up to Caustic Hallow village and trick-or-treat at all 16 numbered houses until the objective reads 16/16.
- Return to Webridden Cavern and fish the green pool until you hit 10 Webbed fish and 15 Cobweb Cod.
- Talk to Webby Winston again and select "I've completed all of the tasks." He confirms the silk is dissolving and rewards you with 1,000 Treats and 8,000 XP.
- Cross the cavern into the newly opened room. The Webweaver Rod rests on a webbed platform, glowing red.
- Interact with the rod and pay 1,000 Treats to add it to your Fishing Rods inventory.

The 250% Luck is the headline number here. Combined with the right enchantments, this rod becomes a strong tool for pulling high-rarity fish. The infinite weight capacity means no fish is too heavy to land.

What does the Webweaver Rod do?
Equipping the Webweaver Rod spawns spider companions that follow you around the map without occupying a companion slot. These spiders do real work while you fish.
Every 3 seconds, the spiders inflict venom on the fish you're reeling in. Each venom stack slows the fish by 40% and grants you +5% Forced Progress Speed. This effect stacks up to five times, meaning a fully stacked fish is moving at a fraction of its normal speed while you're pulling it in significantly faster.
If you fish in the same spot long enough, the spiders spin a web around your feet. Standing on that web guarantees your next catch has the Webbed mutation, which increases the fish's sell value by 2.5x.
The spiders also have two random bonus abilities:
- Hatch Fish: Spiders lay eggs that instantly hatch into a random fish native to your current location.
- Hook Fish: Spiders shoot web strings to hook roaming fish, which can also receive the Webbed mutation.
How do you get more spiders?
You start with one spider, but you can have up to five active at once. Additional spiders appear by meeting specific conditions: fishing at night, catching a fish, standing indoors, and having a FischFright 3 relic enchantment active. Each condition adds another spider to your entourage.
How do you confirm the rod unlocked?
The game gives clear feedback at every step. Your Quest Book shows 16/16, 10/10, and 15/15 before you turn in. Completing the quest triggers a "Webweaver Rod room unlocked" notification. Buying the rod at the altar produces a "You have unlocked Webweaver Rod!" pop-up alongside a "You lost -1000 Treats" confirmation. Once it's in your Fishing Rods menu, check the details panel: Webworm is listed as the rod's Most Favored Bait.
