Completing the Halloween Pumpkin Hunt rewards you with Event XP and Gold. The Gold functions as a special seasonal currency tied to the Halloween event, letting you buy limited-time cosmetics like exclusive vehicles, car wraps, and custom rims. None of these items are available through normal gameplay, so this hunt is worth doing before the event wraps up.

Civilian Spawn area (pumpkins 1-3)
Pumpkin 1 sits right at the Civilian Spawn. After spawning, turn around and walk toward the wall near the Voice Chat Servers board. The pumpkin is on the ground in front of it.
Pumpkin 2 is directly across the street at the truck mission building. Walk up to the entrance ramp and look beside it.
Pumpkin 3 requires you to face the truck mission building entrance and turn left toward the first signal tower. The pumpkin is inside the fenced area behind the control box on the ground.

San Diego Checkpoint border zone (pumpkins 4-6)
Pumpkin 4 is at the San Diego Checkpoint border area. Look for a sign on the left side of the road and check directly underneath it.
Pumpkin 5 is on the roof of the SCANNERS building. Find the nearby ladder, climb to the top, and collect it.
Pumpkin 6 is inside the Border Patrol building. Check the interior carefully since it blends in with the surroundings.
El Capo Mansion and Boat Docks (pumpkins 7-9)
Pumpkin 7 is at the front entrance of El Capo Mansion, sitting right next to the ammo box.
Pumpkin 8 is at the Boat Docks. Enter and find the first rusty structure on your right. Climb the stairs to the second floor and go inside the room.
Pumpkin 9 is found by leaving the Boat Docks and driving straight to the first left turn. Follow that road until you reach a cliff with a small fence, then head inside the fenced area.
Downtown businesses (pumpkins 10-16)
Pumpkin 10 is inside Taco Hell, the fast-food restaurant. Check one of the tables for the pumpkin.
Pumpkin 11 is outside XXL GYM, sitting on the ground right in front of the main entrance.
Pumpkin 12 is inside the San Diego Jewelry Store, in the center of the first floor.
Pumpkin 13 is directly across from the Jewelry Store at the car dealership. Walk inside to find it.
Pumpkin 14 is in the FBI Department building. Enter through the main entrance, turn right, and follow the hallway.
Pumpkin 15 is inside Puence Bank, in the main room of the building.
Pumpkin 16 is hidden in the bushes behind the building next to the bank. Check around the back.
Scrapyard and lumberyard (pumpkins 17-19)
Pumpkin 17 is inside the RV Autoshop in the scrapyard. Look near the desk.
Pumpkin 18 is also in the scrapyard, positioned right at the entrance to the mine.
Pumpkin 19 is at the lumberyard, resting on the ground next to a pole in the central area.
Storage, Target, and surrounding area (pumpkins 20-22)
Pumpkin 20 is at the Legal Storage Solutions facility. Check the desk on the right side.
Pumpkin 21 is beside Target. Look around the area next to the store.
Pumpkin 22 is in the Target indoor parking lot. It's easy to forget this one if you already grabbed pumpkin 21 outside.

Military base and graveyard (pumpkins 23-25)
Pumpkin 23 is near the military base's main entrance. Stand facing the gate and check along the fence on your right.
Pumpkin 24 is in the graveyard, tucked behind one of the trees.
Pumpkin 25 is also in the graveyard, hidden behind one of the tombs.
Coast Guard building and nearby road (pumpkins 26-27)
Pumpkin 26 is inside the Coast Guard building, in the kitchen beside the sink.
Pumpkin 27 is along the main road after you exit the Coast Guard building. Drive straight until you hit a stone barricade and look around it.
Border Patrol revisit, residential area, and tunnel (pumpkins 28-34)
Pumpkin 28 requires a return trip to the Border Patrol building. This time, head to the main conference room.
Pumpkin 29 is in a residential section where several houses sit in a half-circle formation. Check the gap between two of the houses.
Pumpkin 30 is near the tunnel entrance, right next to the NPC standing beside it.
Pumpkin 31 is inside the apartments on the fourth floor, beside the desk.
Pumpkin 32 is behind the apartments in a nearby alley, next to the trash can.
Pumpkin 33 requires you to drive through the mountain tunnel and take the first right into the garage area. The pumpkin is beside the portable toilets.
Pumpkin 34 is at the Sailing Docks. Head to the left side of the area and check the corner of the house.

How should you plan your route?
The most efficient approach is to start at Civilian Spawn, work through the border zone, then loop through El Capo Mansion and the Boat Docks before hitting downtown. From downtown, swing through the scrapyard and lumberyard, then head to the military base, graveyard, and Coast Guard building. Finish with the residential area, apartments, mountain tunnel, and Sailing Docks. Doing it in this order avoids backtracking across the whole map, except for the necessary return to Border Patrol for pumpkin 28.
