How do you redeem Mutant Plants Base Defense codes?
The redemption process takes about 30 seconds. Here is the exact path:
- Launch Mutant Plants Base Defense and load into your base.
- Press the Shop button on the left side of the screen.
- Select the Codes option, or scroll to the bottom of the Shop menu.
- Paste any code from the table above into the Enter Code text box.
- Press the Verify button to claim your reward.

What should you spend your Gems on?
Gems from codes feed into two systems: the Secret Fruits shop for Mutations, and the Upgrade Zone for base stat improvements. Knowing which to prioritize matters.
Secret Fruits and Mutation chances
Each Fruit applies a percentage chance to give one of your plants a specific Mutation. Higher-cost Fruits have lower success rates, but the Mutations they unlock are stronger.
The Reversion Fruit is the safety net here. At 400 Gems with a guaranteed 100% success rate, it undoes any Mutation you regret applying. If you burn through your Void Fruits chasing the Bomb Mutation and end up with something you don't want, one Reversion Fruit fixes it.
The codes give you 10 Void Fruits and 10 Reversion Fruits directly through RELEASE2 and RELEASE3, so you have a solid starting stack for both offense and correction.

The Upgrade Zone lets you spend Gems on permanent stat boosts. None of these are flashy, but they compound across every wave.

How do Grenades work in Mutant Plants Base Defense?
Grenades sit in the Secret tier of weapons, meaning they're not part of your standard plant loadout. They deal area-of-effect damage, making them useful for clearing clusters of enemies that break through your plant line.
The two Grenade types from the new codes do different things:
- Flame-Grenade – Applies burning damage to enemies over time.
- Frozen-Grenade – Freezes enemies in range for a short period.
Combining both is the obvious play. Freeze a group to stop their advance, then follow up with a Flame-Grenade to stack burn damage while they're locked in place. Ten of each from the new codes gives you plenty of room to experiment with that approach.
To equip Fruits from your inventory, press the Backpack button on the left, select Fruits, and click whatever you want to load into your action slots.
