Unlocking Soul Society in Sailor Piece is one of the most rewarding milestones in the game, but it sits behind a multi-island scavenger hunt that trips up a lot of players. The Hogyoku Quest requires you to track down six glowing pink fragments scattered across completely different islands, and you must collect them in a specific order or the quest simply won't progress. This guide breaks down every single fragment location so you can blaze through the quest without backtracking.
How Do You Start the Hogyoku Quest in Sailor Piece?
Before hunting down any fragments, you need to officially activate the quest. Head to Hueco Mundo Island using any Teleport Portal and make your way to the far left corner of the island, near the Aizen Mastery NPC. The Hogyoku Quest NPC is tucked into that same area.
Once you talk to the NPC and accept the quest, the six fragment locations become active. Remember: the fragments must be collected in order from #1 through #6. Grabbing them out of sequence triggers an error and won't count toward your progress.

Here's a quick reference table before diving into the detailed breakdown for each stop:
Fragment #1: Snow Island
Teleport to Snow Island and move toward the opposite end of the island where the small hills cluster together. Keep an eye out for a tree growing near a red mushroom. Climb up the tree and you'll spot the first Hogyoku Fragment resting on one of the branches. It glows pink, so it's fairly visible once you're at the right elevation.
According to multiple sources, the Artifact Master NPC and two shops are nearby landmarks you can use to orient yourself. The tree with the fragment is right behind that shop area on a ledge.

Fragment #2: Shibuya Station
Shibuya Station is an urban-styled island packed with buildings and neon signage. From the spawn point, walk straight until you spot a building displaying red and green billboards. Spam-jump your way to the rooftop and check the corner closest to the green board. The second fragment is sitting right there.
The building isn't the tallest on the island, but the red-and-green billboard combo makes it easy to identify from a distance. Don't waste time climbing the wrong structures.
Fragment #3: Hueco Mundo
You're already familiar with Hueco Mundo from starting the quest here. Return to the area near the Aizen boss NPC and look to his right side. You'll notice a wooden branch structure (described by some players as resembling a pipe or branch formation depending on viewing angle). Climb it to reach the third fragment sitting on top.
This one is close to where you started the quest, so it's a quick detour before moving on to the next islands.
Fragment #4: Shinjuku Island
Teleport to Shinjuku Island and look for the tallest building, positioned slightly to the right of where you spawn. The building with the Strongest in History trainer on top is your target. Jump up to the second platform from the top and look for an entry window. Head through it to find Fragment #4 tucked into a corner inside the building.

Fragment #5: Slime Island
Head to Slime Island and move past the Slime Warriors from your spawn point. Continue straight until you reach the second tree on your left side (the west side of the island). The fragment is perched on the first branch of that tree. According to Pro Game Guides, this is considered the easiest fragment to locate in the entire quest.
Don't confuse the first tree with the second. Walk past the initial tree and check the next one to the left. The fragment will be visible on the lower branch.
Fragment #6: Judgement Island
The final fragment sits on Judgement Island. From spawn, move toward the east side of the island and locate the tallest rock formation. Climb to the top, then carefully move along the right edge. Drop down from the edge toward a small ledge below, and the sixth and final Hogyoku Fragment will be waiting there.
This one requires a bit of careful platforming since you're dropping to a ledge rather than climbing up to one. Take it slow and you won't overshoot.
What Happens After You Collect All 6 Fragments?
Once you've grabbed all six fragments in order, return to the Hogyoku Quest NPC on Hueco Mundo Island and speak with him again. A Hogyoku Portal will open directly beside the NPC, giving you 120 seconds to step through before it closes.
Use that portal to enter Soul Society for the first time. After your first visit, you won't need to repeat the quest. Soul Society becomes permanently accessible through the standard Teleport Portals found on every island in Sailor Piece.
Inside Soul Society, you'll find new quests, tougher enemies, and powerful weapons including the coveted True Aizen sword, which is one of the strongest weapons currently in the game.
