Black Reaper is Sailor Piece's take on Kaneki Ken's most brutal form from Tokyo Ghoul:re, and it delivers the damage to match. The unlock path requires farming a summonable boss on Isolation Island in Sea 2, collecting six different materials, and finishing a mastery questline to access the full kit. This is not a weekend project, but the result is one of the hardest-hitting melee specs in Roblox at the moment.
What do you need to unlock Black Reaper in Sailor Piece?
You need to reach Sea 2 and finish the Blood Flower Quest on Starter Island before Isolation Island becomes accessible. Once you're in, the entire grind takes place on Isolation Island.
The Black Reaper Seller NPC is on a platform inside the wall to the right of the large chamber at the island's center. Teleport in, climb to the chamber's top, and look right.
The NPC requires these materials:
Gems aside, everything drops from the Black Reaper Boss. The One Eyed King title has the lowest base rate at 0.75%, but the 125-kill pity guarantees you'll get it eventually.

How do you summon the Black Reaper Boss?
The Black Reaper Boss doesn't spawn naturally. You summon it by talking to the Black Reaper Summoner NPC inside the chamber on Isolation Island. That requires Reaper Keys, which drop from Ghoul Member mobs on Isolation Island at a 0.1% base rate.
Key cost scales with difficulty:
Extreme's HP spike is massive. Medium or Hard gives you better drop rates without the time sink per kill unless your build is genuinely overtuned.
What does the Black Reaper Boss drop?
The boss can drop these items, with rates improving at higher difficulties:
- Black Shard (up to 10%)
- Reaper Remnant (up to 3.25%)
- Rinkaku Core (up to 1%)
- Ghoul Essence (up to 0.45%)
- One Eyed King Title (up to 1.4%, 125 pity)
- Ghoul Outfit accessory (up to 0.75%)
The Ghoul Outfit is cosmetic and doesn't block progression, but it completes the Kaneki look if you care about that.
Is there a shortcut to get Black Reaper?
Yes. The shop sells Black Reaper for Robux.
- Black Reaper only: 1,599 Robux
- Black Reaper plus Ghoul Outfit bundle: 1,399 Robux
The bundle costs less than the spec alone, which is a weird pricing choice but worth noting. If you're spending Robux, the bundle is the better deal.
How do you unlock the Black Reaper F Move?
Purchasing Black Reaper gives you M1, Z, X, C, and V immediately. The F Move is locked behind a mastery questline from the Black Reaper Mastery NPC, who's at the top of the chamber on Isolation Island.
The questline has three steps:
- Beat the Black Reaper Boss 25 times on Medium difficulty or higher
- Obtain the Ghoul Bloodline
- Reach Level 250 Mastery on Black Reaper
Completing all three unlocks the F Move and adds a permanent +30% damage buff to every Black Reaper move. That buff applies to all moves retroactively, so the mastery grind is worth it even if you don't end up using the F Move much.
What is the full Black Reaper moveset?
Here's the complete kit with damage numbers:
The V move hits for 202 billion and works as both area denial and a burst finisher. It's the move you build your rotation around. The C move at 84 billion is your combo filler while V is on cooldown.
Building toward Black Reaper: what else should you unlock?
Black Reaper works best with a solid foundation. If you're still working through Sea 2, a few other unlocks will make the boss farm easier. The Demon King Fighting Style guide covers the strongest fighting style in the game, which can carry you through early Black Reaper runs. Haki is another layer you want active before attempting higher difficulties: the full Haki unlock guide covers Observation, Armament, and Conqueror with exact costs and quest steps.
