Black Reaper is Sailor Piece's answer to Kaneki Ken's most feared form from Tokyo Ghoul:re, and it hits exactly as hard as you'd expect. Getting it requires grinding a summonable boss on Isolation Island in Sea 2, collecting six specific drop types, and then completing a separate mastery questline to unlock the full moveset. Nothing about this process is quick, but the payoff is one of the strongest melee specs in Roblox right now.
What do you need to unlock Black Reaper in Sailor Piece?
Before you can even think about talking to the Black Reaper Seller NPC, you need to reach Sea 2 and complete the Blood Flower Quest on Starter Island to unlock Isolation Island. Once that gate is open, the rest of the grind happens entirely on Isolation Island.
The Seller NPC sits on a platform inside the wall to the right of the large chamber at the center of Isolation Island. Teleport in, climb to the top of the chamber, and look right. You cannot miss him.
Here is everything he demands in exchange for the spec:
Every single material except Gems drops from the same boss, so your entire progression path runs through the Black Reaper Boss fight. The One Eyed King title is the rarest requirement at a base rate of 0.75%, though the 125-kill pity system means you will eventually get it no matter how unlucky your rolls are.

How do you summon the Black Reaper Boss?
The Black Reaper Boss is not a world spawn. You summon him by talking to the Black Reaper Summoner NPC inside the chamber at Isolation Island. To do that, you first need Reaper Keys, which drop from Ghoul Member mobs on Isolation Island at a 0.1% base chance.
The number of keys required scales with difficulty:
The jump from Hard to Extreme is steep, so unless your build is genuinely carrying, Medium or Hard offers the best balance of drop rate improvement versus time spent per kill.
Reaper Keys have a 0.1% drop rate from Ghoul Member mobs. Budget your time accordingly. If you are farming keys and materials simultaneously, expect this to be the longest phase of the grind.
What does the Black Reaper Boss drop?
Beating the boss can reward the following items, with drop rates increasing at higher difficulties:
- Black Shard (up to 10% drop chance)
- Reaper Remnant (up to 3.25% drop chance)
- Rinkaku Core (up to 1% drop chance)
- Ghoul Essence (up to 0.45% drop chance)
- One Eyed King Title (up to 1.4% drop chance, 125 pity)
- Ghoul Outfit accessory (up to 0.75% drop chance)
The Ghoul Outfit is a bonus cosmetic that does not block progress, but it is worth tracking if you want the full Kaneki aesthetic.
Is there a shortcut to get Black Reaper?
Yes. The in-game shop sells Black Reaper directly for Robux.
- Black Reaper only: 1,599 Robux
- Black Reaper plus Ghoul Outfit bundle: 1,399 Robux
The bundle is actually cheaper than buying the spec alone, which is a deliberate pricing quirk worth noting. If you are going to spend Robux either way, the bundle is the obvious choice.
Buying Black Reaper from the shop still requires you to complete the F Move mastery questline afterward. The Robux purchase skips the material grind, not the mastery grind.
How do you unlock the Black Reaper F Move?
Purchasing Black Reaper gives you access to M1, Z, X, C, and V moves immediately. The F Move is locked behind a separate mastery questline run by the Black Reaper Mastery NPC, who stands at the center of the top of the chamber on Isolation Island.
To unlock the F Move, complete all three of these quests:
- Defeat the Black Reaper Boss 25 times on Medium difficulty or higher
- Obtain the Ghoul Bloodline
- Reach Level 250 Mastery on Black Reaper
Finishing all three unlocks the F Move and permanently grants a +30% damage buff to every Black Reaper move. That buff applies retroactively to all moves, making the mastery grind worth pushing through even if the F Move itself turns out to be situational.
What is the full Black Reaper moveset?
Here is the complete moveset with damage values:
The V move is the standout here at 202 billion damage. It functions as both an area denial tool and a burst finisher, making it the move you build your rotation around. The C move at 84 billion is your primary combo extender before V comes off cooldown.
The +30% damage buff from F Move mastery applies to all moves, which pushes the V move's effective output significantly higher. Prioritize completing the mastery questline before treating your damage numbers as final.
Building toward Black Reaper: what else should you unlock?
Black Reaper pairs best with a strong foundation. If you are still working through Sea 2 content, a few other unlocks will make the boss farm significantly easier. The Demon King Fighting Style guide covers what is considered the most powerful fighting style in the game, which can carry you through the early Black Reaper farming runs. Haki is another layer you want active before attempting higher difficulties: the full Haki unlock guide covers Observation, Armament, and Conqueror with exact costs and quest steps.
