Insect Breathing is one of the more approachable styles to unlock in Roblox Slayers 2, and it pays off fast. The poison-stacking mechanic gives you a hit-and-run toolkit that most early-game styles simply can't match, and the trainer sits right at Butterfly Estate once you know where to look. Here's exactly how to get it.
What do you need to unlock Insect Breathing?
Before you track down the trainer, make sure you have all three requirements ready. Showing up short on any of them just sends you back to grinding.
| Requirement | Amount | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Player level | 25 | NPC quests, mobs, mini-bosses, bosses |
| Wen | 3,500 | Quests, mob drops, fishing |
| Demon Horns | 15 | Killing demon mobs, mini-bosses, bosses |
Level 25 is the hard gate. You can farm Wen and Demon Horns in parallel while leveling, so there's no reason to wait until you hit 25 before stockpiling both. Fishing is a surprisingly efficient Wen source if combat farming feels slow.

Where is Insect Trainer Shinora?
The trainer NPC is Shinora, found at Butterfly Estate. She doesn't stand at ground level where most players look. Head to the house behind the Shiori NPC, climb onto its roof, and move to the back side. Shinora is standing up there.
This roof placement trips up a lot of players who run laps around the estate at ground level. Once you spot the Shiori NPC at the base of the house, climbing up is straightforward.
After talking to Shinora the first time, she'll confirm your requirements. When you have Level 25, 3,500 Wen, and 15 Demon Horns ready, talk to her again. She takes the Wen and Horns, then opens up the six training tasks.

How to complete all 6 Insect Breathing training tasks
1. Meditate
Go inside the large house to the right of the spawn crystal at Butterfly Estate. Head to the second room and interact with the mat on the floor. A mini-game appears where a yellow cursor moves across the screen. Click every time the cursor hits the white ball. Hit 100% to complete it. One successful run is all you need.
2. Aim Training
The target shooting area sits near the same house as the Meditation room. Look for two target boards outside. Interact with either board and click the targets as they appear on screen. Complete the mini-game once and this task is done.
3. Cup Training
Back inside the big house, the third room holds the Cup Training area. Interact with the small mat on the floor to sit down. Three cups appear on a table and you need to track which one hides the coin. Pick the correct cup 10 times to finish. You get 3 lives, and a wrong pick costs one.
4. Push-ups
The first room in that same big house handles Push-ups. Interact with the floor mat to start. White circles appear on screen, each with a smaller oscillating circle inside. Click just as the inner circle is about to touch the outer ring. A green flash means success, red means miss. Complete one full push-up sequence without failing.
5. Boulder Split
This one takes you to a separate location outside the main house. Find the two large boulders at the marked spot near the estate. Interact with either boulder. Small white circles appear on screen; click and hold each one, then drag it to the opposite end of the line shown in the game. Split the boulder once and this task clears.
6. Defeat the Insect Trainee
The final task is a combat fight. The Insect Trainee NPC stands just outside the Butterfly Estate boundary. Head to the location shown on your map and take him down. This is a straightforward fight at Level 25, though having a decent weapon and some healing items on hand doesn't hurt. Win the fight and Insect Breathing is yours.
What are the Insect Breathing forms?
Insect Breathing comes with 4 forms at launch:
- Form 1: Butterfly Dance: Caprice
- Form 2: Bee Sting: True Flutter
- Form 3: Dragonfly Compound Eyes: Hexagonal
- Form 4: Centipede Zigzag
All four lean into the style's core identity: fast thrusts and quick engagements that let the poison do the sustained damage work after you've already moved out of range.
Is Insect Breathing worth using?
Insect Breathing sits at Tier A on the breathing style rankings, which puts it in solid but not top-tier territory. The real value is in how it plays rather than raw damage output.
The poison stacks tick after you disengage, meaning opponents take damage even when you're not in their face. Pair that with the style's strong mobility and you get a hit-and-run toolkit that works well in PvP against opponents who rely on burst combos. The weakness is the flip side of that same coin: against aggressive players who can absorb the poison ticks and keep pushing, the low direct damage becomes a real problem.
For clan pairing, Kocho (Legendary rarity) has direct synergy with Insect Breathing and is the recommended pick if you can get it.

Getting the most out of Insect Breathing
The style rewards patient, mobile play. Open with a fast form to apply the first poison stack, create distance immediately, then re-engage when the tick has softened the target. Trying to trade hits directly defeats the purpose of picking Insect over something like Flame or Stone, which deal higher raw damage.
