Water Breathing is one of the most popular styles in Roblox Slayers 2, and it's not hard to see why. The problem is getting there. Urokodaki is hidden behind an underwater passage most players swim right past, and the training sequence that follows has a few moments that will catch you off guard if you go in blind. This guide covers every step: where to find the trainer, what to bring, and how to clear all six challenges without wasting a trip.

What are the requirements to unlock Water Breathing in Slayers 2?

Before you even think about finding Urokodaki, you need three things sorted. Show up without them and you're just making a round trip.

RequirementAmountHow to Get It
Level25Normal progression and questing
Wen5,000Complete NPC quests
Demon Horns30Farm Hoyuzo Subordinates (30% drop for 1 horn) or the Hoyuzo Boss (50% chance for 3 horns)

The Demon Horns are the bottleneck for most players. Farming the Hoyuzo Boss is the faster route since a single kill can drop 3 horns at a 50% rate, compared to grinding Subordinates at 30% for just 1. Do the math and prioritize the boss whenever possible.

Where is the Water Breathing trainer in Slayers 2?

Urokodaki is not standing out in the open. His training area is hidden, and the entrance is easy to miss if you're not looking carefully.

Head to Bamboo Grove first. Once you're there, move to the right side of the small house in the area. You'll spot a small water opening at ground level. That's your entry point. Swim inside and keep moving forward through the underwater passage. The tunnel leads directly to Urokodaki's hidden training room on the other side.

One thing to watch: your oxygen. The passage is long enough that careless players drown before reaching the end. Keep swimming without stopping and you'll make it through without issue.

How to complete all six Water Breathing training tasks

Once you hand over the materials and start the quest, Urokodaki sends you through six consecutive challenges. Each one tests a different skill. Here's what to expect from each.

Parkour Dungeon

The first challenge is a movement course with 6 obstacles to clear before reaching the end. You get 3 lives total, and losing one to a bad jump stings more than it sounds. Don't rush. Controlled movement beats speed here, especially on the later obstacles where the gaps tighten.

Push Ups

This task sends you to the Butterfly Estate. Once there, follow the button prompts as they appear on screen and press the correct inputs in sequence. It's a rhythm-style challenge, so stay focused on the prompts rather than looking around the environment.

Boulder Push

You need to push a boulder along a set route to the objective marker. The key mistake players make here is overcorrecting direction. Keep steady pressure toward the target and avoid sharp angle changes, which slow the boulder down and eat up time.

Aim Training

Targets pop up on screen and you need to hit them until the completion meter reaches 100%. Stay locked on the targets as they appear. There's no trick here beyond keeping your aim consistent until the bar fills.

Underwater Rocks

Back in the water. You need to collect 5 glowing rocks scattered inside the lake near Bamboo Grove. Oxygen management matters here just like it did in the entrance passage. Plan your route between rocks before diving so you're not scrambling around the lake floor burning oxygen.

Defeat the Water Trainee (Sabito Boss)

The final challenge is a fight against Sabito, the Water Trainee Mini Boss. This is where players get caught out. Sabito has AoE abilities that can one-shot you if you're standing too close. Keep distance during his attack animations and move back in once the AoE window closes. Clearing this fight completes the training sequence and unlocks Water Breathing.

After that, head into the Skill Tree to start unlocking individual Water Breathing skills.

How does Water Breathing compare to other styles?

Water Breathing is a solid all-around choice, but whether it's the right pick for your build depends on your playstyle and clan. Before committing your Demon Horns and Wen, check the Slayers 2 breathing styles tier list to see how Water Breathing ranks against the other options in both PvP and PvE, and whether your clan has natural synergy with it.
