Turmoil: The Heat Is On adds a new campaign with a fresh town, mayor, magma-based drilling mechanics, 9 collectible underground treasures, and new characters.

The Heat Is On introduces a new campaign set across a fresh oil-rich map divided into three areas. Each area brings new drilling mechanics powered by magma, a new underground substance, and a cast of characters including Jack, who runs a magma tools operation, and Philip, who hosts a card game in the saloon. Familiar faces such as Edward, Fred, and William return, now arriving by train wagon so players can restock drilling gear immediately.
The new mayor operates differently from his predecessor, offering free tips and running a revised auction system, though shares still cost money. Gas usage has been made more accessible from the start, with Left and Right Inc. arriving with built-in gas intake capabilities, removing the need for expensive early upgrades. The metagame expands significantly with nine collectible underground treasures that can be dug up or traded for meaningful benefits, replacing the previous diamond system.
Anthony returns with his own store for buying and selling underground treasures, and the village gains additional activities including the card game run by Philip. The DLC also includes new music tracks and, for those who notice, a cat wandering around town.

BuyTurmoil: Deeper Underground adds a Roaring Twenties campaign with new characters, water and petrol mechanics, deep-drilling expeditions, dynamite, and more.

Deeper Underground introduces a fully new campaign set in the Roaring Twenties, complete with a new town, new buildings, a new mayor, and balloon trips to special deep-drilling grounds. Two new playable characters, Thorpe and Mabel, join the roster, alongside new vendors Yvonne, Sanjay, and Dynamite Dale, while returning NPCs Edward, Raynor, Fred, and William continue supplying drilling equipment by train. Philip also returns with a new side game called Dice Dice Dice.
Alongside oil, players can now discover water underground, which speeds up drilling and reduces costs, and serves as an essential ingredient for producing petrol. Petrol cannot be sold directly; it must first be processed in refineries, adding a production layer to the resource chain. Dynamite is also added as a tool for breaking through hard rock that standard drills cannot handle.
Every few in-game years, standard drilling levels alternate with special expedition missions focused on drilling as deep as possible with limited resources, pitting players against opponents in a depth challenge. Town shares remain the win condition, using the same bidding system from the multiplayer campaign, with additional shares available through deep-drilling mission performance.
