What is the Top Umadol Project event?

The All Together! Top Umadol Project is a limited-time fan-collection event in Umamusume: Pretty Derby that ran from April 6 to April 9, 2026 (UTC). The premise is simple: complete Career runs, rack up fans, and unlock rewards at both individual and community-wide thresholds. There is no special mode to unlock or separate queue to enter. If you play Career normally during the event window, your fans count automatically.

According to the official Cygames announcement, the event ran for roughly 72 hours before the Tallying Period began at 10:00 PM UTC on April 9. Results were announced between April 10 and April 13, 2026, with Community Rewards delivered via the Presents box after players viewed the event ending.

What rewards can you earn?

There are two reward tracks: Individual Rewards tied to your personal fan count, and Community Rewards unlocked when all players hit collective milestones together.

Individual rewards

The individual track is straightforward. Reaching 1,200,000 fans on your own earns you one copy of the event-exclusive SR Support Card: Smart Falcon (Almost... an Umadol?! ♡). The full individual reward track caps out at 2,000,000 fans, which also covers in-game currency, Alarm Clocks, Support Points, and an Event Title, according to Game8's event guide.

With the Trackblazer scenario, a single run with heavy racing can produce over 500,000 fans, meaning the 2,000,000 threshold is achievable in just a few sessions.

Community rewards

Community milestones unlock rewards for every participating trainer, regardless of individual contribution. Here is a breakdown of the key tiers based on post-adjustment targets:

The SSR Make Debut Scout Race 2 Ticket is the headline prize. It guarantees a random SSR from the scout list, making it one of the more valuable free pulls the event offered.

Why were the community goals reduced?

The global server stalled at roughly 500 billion fans before the deadline. That sounds like a lot, but the original final target was set at 2 trillion fans, a number calibrated for the Japanese player base rather than the worldwide one. The two-star Make Debut Scout Race ticket alone required 1 trillion fans under the original structure.

Cygames confirmed via their official news post (umamusume.com, April 8, 2026) that the collective fan thresholds were incorrectly based on Japanese version requirements. The fix was applied the same day, and the adjusted targets brought every reward tier within reach before the event closed.

As Siliconera reported, this change meant all Support Card copies and both scout tickets were distributed to every qualifying player, not just those who had already crossed earlier milestones.

How to farm fans efficiently for the individual track

The Trackblazer scenario is by far the fastest path to the 2,000,000 individual fan target. According to Game8's event guide, a typical Trackblazer run that includes heavy racing can yield more than 500,000 fans per career, meaning four solid runs covers the full individual track.

Using Smart Falcon as your trainee or slotting in any of her Support Cards during a Career adds a flat 80,000 bonus fans on top of your normal total. Her Power SSR is a particularly good pick for Front Runner builds because it gives access to both Groundwork and Prudent Positioning in the same card, according to Game8.

Which Smart Falcon cards give the fan bonus?

All four of Smart Falcon's available cards trigger the bonus:

  • Smart Falcon (LOVE☆4EVER) character card
  • Smart Falcon Power SSR support card
  • Smart Falcon SR Guts support card (the event reward itself)
  • Smart Falcon R Power support card

Slotting any one of these into your Career deck during the event window activates the 80,000 fan bonus. You do not need multiples.

What else is happening in April 2026?

The Top Umadol Project was one of several events running in April. According to the April 2026 release schedule documented by Game8, the month also includes:

  • Tonight at the Ligne Droite story event (April 5-18), featuring bonuses for Seiun Sky, Fuji Kiseki, Symboli Rudolf, Sirius Symboli, and Air Shakur
  • Racing Carnival returning April 16 with Winning Ticket, Agnes Tachyon, Tokai Teio, and Fuji Kiseki as featured racers
  • Aries Cup (CM12) Champions Meeting starting April 23, based on the Satsuki Sho track
  • Golshi Week rerun from April 26, offering up to 5,640 Carats in login bonuses and free daily pulls
  • Tracen Cheer Squad story event starting April 26, with a free Power SSR featuring Kawakami Princess

The banner lineup is also strong this month. The first wave features Seiun Sky (Soirée des Chatons) and Fuji Kiseki (Succès Étoilé) alongside new SSR support cards for Symboli Rudolf (Stamina) and Sirius Symboli (Wit). Nishino Flower arrives on April 12 as a new trainee strong in Sprint and Mile races.

Smart Falcon SR card: is it worth building around?

The Smart Falcon (Almost... an Umadol?! ♡) SR sits at B Tier according to Game8's support card tier list at time of writing. Its specialty is Guts, and its unique perk boosts Training Effectiveness and Initial Power. As an SR rather than SSR, its ceiling is lower than the top-end Guts options, but five free copies means you can fully limit-break it without spending any resources.

A fully limit-broken SR with a relevant specialty is a reasonable filler pick for Guts-focused builds, especially early in roster building. The card is not a meta-defining pull, but free limit-break copies from an event are always worth taking.
