How to Get In, Flight Paths and Coordinates

Nobody hands you the WoW Forever Light's Hope Chapel flight path. You ride the whole zone once, from the western bridge to the chapel on the eastern cliffs, and only then does the gryphon or bat start working for you. All coordinates below come from the Classic client, since the Forever beta cap stops long before this zone.

• Alliance players fly to Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands and ride east along the main road.
• Horde players fly to the Undercity, walk out through the Bulwark and ride the same road east.
• The road ends at the river bridge where Tirion camps, so the first quest giver is also the first thing that tries to be polite to you.
• Light's Hope Chapel is neutral, so both factions share one hub, one graveyard and one fountain of arguments.

The zone runs 54 to 59 on paper, with the honest sweet spot at 55 to 58. Any serious World of Warcraft Forever leveling guide will tell you the same thing: come after Western Plaguelands or Felwood, not before, because level 53 inside the Plaguewood is a donation to the spirit healer.

• Take Demon Dogs, Blood Tinged Skies and Carrion Grubbage from Tirion at 7.6, 43.7.
• Loot the book at 17.4, 31.1 in Terrordale and turn in Augustus' Receipt Book to unlock the only vendor outside Light's Hope.
• Fill the termite jar on the mounds scattered around Terrordale while killing Plaguebats along the western side.
• Horde players ride to Marris Stead and take To Kill With Purpose, Un-Life's Little Annoyances and The Ranger Lord's Behest.
• Ride south to Darrowshire, hand in Little Pamela, rebuild Pamela's Doll from three pieces in the ruined houses, and take Uncle Carlin and Auntie Marlene.
• Click the Torn Scroll at 27.3, 85.2 by the Undercroft to start Hameya's Plea and remember the spot, because you will be back twice.
• Follow the southern road east to Light's Hope Chapel and grab the flight path before anything else distracts you.
• At the chapel, turn in Uncle Carlin to Carlin Redpath and take Defenders of Darrowshire, then take Zaeldarr the Outcast and The Restless Souls from Caretaker Alen.
• Take Argent Dawn Commission from Duke Nicholas Zverenhoff so Scourgestones start dropping from this moment on.
• Kill Plaguehounds and Carrion Grubs in the fields west of the chapel, then clear Corin's Crossing for Horde Living Rot.
• Sweep north for Frenzied Plaguehounds around 65, 33 and Carrion Devourers around 65, 28, which finishes Tirion's kill quests.
• Kill Infiltrator Hameya at 70.7, 16.5 in Zul'Mashar for Hameya's Key while the trolls there are still grey to nobody.
• Ride back west, turn in Tirion's three quests, listen to Redemption and take Of Forgotten Memories.
• At the Undercroft, dig up Mercutio Filthgorger for Taelan's Hammer, kill Zaeldarr the Outcast, and use Hameya's Key on the Mound of Dirt at 28.0, 86.2.
• Free fifteen Darrowshire spirits while you are in the south, then return to Tirion and take Of Lost Honor.
• Fly to Light's Hope, turn in Zaeldarr and Defenders, then ride north to Northdale for the Symbol of Lost Honor at 71.3, 34.0.
• Return to Tirion, take Of Love and Family for Artist Renfray at Caer Darrow, and stop in Terrordale to turn in The Restless Souls to Egan and receive the Stratholme follow-up.
• Leave at 58 or 59 carrying the Stratholme steps, Of Love and Family and The Restless Souls, for a proper group run.

That is WoW Forever 55-60 leveling in its purest form: three trips across the same map, one bridge you will learn to hate, and a quest log that looks like a hospital bill.

Faction-Specific Chains

Horde gets the best private hub in the zone. Nathanos adds Duskwing, Oh How I Hate Thee..., The Corpulent One, then The Call to Command, The Crimson Courier, Nathanos' Ruse, Return to Nathanos and finally The Scarlet Oracle, Demetria. The first two are elite hunts, the middle is a trip to Varimathras and back, and the end is a five-man fight on the Tyr's Hand road.

Alliance gets a spy novel instead. The Eastern Plagues sends you to collect SI:7 insignias near Marris Stead, The Blightcaller Cometh walks you to Bolvar Fordragon, and Order Must Be Restored asks you to kill Nathanos in his own yard. It is a raid quest disguised as a leveling quest, and the Horde will be waiting with snacks.

Elite and Group Quests: Do Them or Skip Them

Rule of thumb: if the quest has an elite name in it and pays a blue, find a group. If it pays in bombs you have to build yourself, walk away.

Dungeon Turn-Ins Worth the Trip

The WoW Forever Stratholme quests are where this zone pays its debts. Of Love and Family needs the painting from the Scarlet Bastion, The Restless Souls needs fifteen ghosts freed with Egan's Blaster, and The Great Fras Siabi sends you into the city for Smokey's tobacco.

The long one is Duke Zverenhoff's line. Kill Balnazzar, then Baron Rivendare for Above and Beyond, then speak to Lord Maxwell Tyrosus and open The Argent Hold. Betina Bigglezink adds Plagued Hatchlings for Scholomance, which you will do anyway because Scholomance is where joy goes to be dissected.

• Thrill of Adventure restores a slice of health and mana after killing blows, which is exactly what chain pulling Scourge needs.
• Bountiful Harvest raises scarce herbs, ore and leather from gathering, and this zone is full of scarce herbs.
• Reinforce cuts durability loss on death, which is a polite way of saying it was designed for the Plaguewood.
• Crafted food carries a small experience bonus, so eat something better than stale bread between pulls.
• Camping buffs last an hour, so drop a fire near Light's Hope before the northern arc.

Rares, Farm Spots and Elite Mobs

The WoW Forever rare spawns here are mostly loot pinatas with Corruptor's Scourgestones inside. None of them is a reason to enter the zone, but all of them are a reason to detour thirty yards.

Eastern Plaguelands is the corpse of Lordaeron's eastern half. Stratholme burned under Arthas, Darrowshire fell in a battle Pamela still waits to see end, and Tirion Fordring lives in a hut by the river because the Silver Hand exiled him for sparing an orc. His son Taelan Fordring now serves the Scarlet Crusade in Hearthglen.

The WoW Forever Tirion Fordring questline is that family story played in six steps across three zones. It ends in tears, a dead Grand Inquisitor and a very good neck, which is roughly what Warcraft means by closure.
