WuWa (Wuthering Waves ...

Wuthering Waves Version 3.2, titled Resolution to Illuminate the Shadows, dropped on March 19, 2026, and it is one of the more content-dense patches Kuro Games has delivered in recent memory. You get a new 5-star Resonator with a genuinely different playstyle, a permanent endgame mode that will run through Version 3.4, a mountain of free Astrites, and Echo management changes that should have been in the game months ago. Here is everything you need to know to make the most of it.

Sigrika debut in Version 3.2

Sigrika debut in Version 3.2

Who is Sigrika and how does she play?

Sigrika is a 5-star Aero Gauntlet user from Startorch Academy, introduced as the sole new Resonator in Version 3.2. Her combat role sits at Main Damage Dealer, with a secondary focus on Traction and Echo Skill DMG, according to the official Kuro Games patch notes.

What makes her stand out is how her damage scales. Her Forte Circuit revolves around two resources: the Full Stop gauge and Soliskin Vitality. Soliskin Vitality builds whenever your teammates use Echo Skills, and that stacking directly amplifies Sigrika's own damage output. The practical result is a character who rewards tight rotations and frequent Echo Skill cycling rather than simple button mashing.

What weapon should you use on Sigrika?

Solsworn Ciphers is her signature Gauntlet weapon and the clear best-in-slot option. According to the patch notes and build analysis from acgn.global, it provides a 48.6% Crit DMG stat alongside up to 64% Echo Skill DMG Amplification, plus DEF-shredding on top. That combination slots perfectly into her kit. If you do not pull the signature, the general approach is to find a weapon that supports Crit stats and Echo Skill amplification, though specific F2P alternatives are not detailed in available sources.

Who should you pair with Sigrika?

Qiuyuan is the standout pairing for Sigrika in Phase 1. His synergy with Echo Skill cycles directly feeds her Soliskin Vitality generation, making him the intended teammate Kuro Games paired on the same banner. Top-tier supports like Shorekeeper also work excellently depending on your roster depth, as noted by acgn.global's build guide.

Version 3.2 banner schedule: should you pull?

The patch runs two phases across its six-week window, which ends April 29, 2026 (ET: 4:00 PM).

Phase 1 is a clean setup for Aero and Echo Skill teams. Pulling both Sigrika and Qiuyuan in the same phase saves you from hunting her best partner in a future rerun.

Phase 2 is a triple rerun of Lynae, Zani, and Phoebe. The important caveat, as confirmed by acgn.global's banner breakdown, is that standard pity and guarantee mechanics apply across all three featured characters equally. You cannot target a specific one, so going in without a guarantee is a gamble on which of the three you land. Lynae is highlighted as a top-tier support in the current meta, making Phase 2 worth considering if you missed her.

How to get 10,600+ free Astrites in Version 3.2

According to calculations documented by gamingonphone.com, the total free Astrite haul across the full 42-day patch comes to 10,630 Astrites, plus 12 Radiant Tides, 17 Lustrous Tides, and 7 Forging Tides. That translates to roughly 102 free pulls if you play all available content.

Which events give the most Astrites?

Among the limited-time events, Soar to the Beat is the biggest earner at 800 Astrites. This rhythm challenge runs until April 29, 2026. The Knights of the Wild featured challenge event follows at 600 Astrites (April 9 to April 29). Do not sleep on Whispers Between Stars either. It is a new permanent system that unlocks Resonator side storylines and yields 300 Astrites, and it stays in the game after 3.2 ends.

What is the Endstate Matrix and how does it work?

The Endstate Matrix is Version 3.2's new high-difficulty recurring challenge mode, and it replaces the Tower of Adversity as the patch's most demanding endgame content. The first challenge cycle, called the Doomsday Cycle, runs from Version 3.2 all the way through Version 3.4, giving you a longer runway than a single patch to clear it.

According to Kuro Games' official patch notes, the Endstate Matrix became available from March 26, 2026 onward. Clearing it earns Astrites and upgrade materials tied to the Doomsday Cycle rewards track. Based on acgn.global's analysis, the mode tests Dodge Counter and QTE mechanics specifically, so roster depth matters less than mechanical execution.

New Sigils tied to the mode include Astral Flight and Past the Endstate – Doomsday Cycle, and clearing content earns the Matrix Ranger title.

What QoL changes actually matter in Version 3.2?

The Echo management overhaul is the standout quality-of-life change in this patch, and it is genuinely significant. Here is what Kuro Games added, per the official patch notes:

  • Batch Discard and Batch Lock now apply to filtered Echo results, cutting the time spent managing your backpack dramatically.
  • Smart Discard lets you auto-discard Echoes based on a Suggested Plan or a custom management plan you configure yourself.
  • Sharing and Importing via Plan Codes means you can import another player's Echo configuration with a single code, or share your own.
  • Auto-Discard Non-5-Star Echoes can be toggled on to automatically flag all sub-5-star Echoes for discard as you obtain them.
  • Suggested Plans allow one-click import of recommended management setups.

The material tracking improvement also saves real time. Selecting a material from your Backpack or Resonator screen now opens the map and automatically tracks nearby Tacet Discords that drop it. If none are close, it expands the search radius automatically.

On the Expedition Motorbike side, Autopilot Mode received better obstacle-avoidance logic and the removal of the Adaptive Hook prompt, which was cluttering the screen during auto-navigation.

The Enhanced Absorption adjustment is also worth noting. Previously, any Echo drop during a Tacet Discord fight would consume an Enhanced Absorption attempt. Now, if an Echo drops from the base drop rate, no Enhanced Absorption attempt is deducted. Guaranteed Echo drops from quests are also excluded from the counter entirely.

New story content in Version 3.2

Chapter III Act IV: Gold Suspended in Shadows is the main quest for this patch. The story takes you into the Dark Side of Startorch Academy alongside Sigrika, investigating a mysterious frequency tied to the Fractsidus. It is permanently available after the update and requires completing the Segue: Afterstory "All That Sunlight Touches" first.

The follow-up, Segue: Afterstory: Rabbit Reflected in Shades, unlocks on April 9, 2026, after you complete Chapter III Act IV. New enemies introduced in 3.2 include the Phagosite: Bipolarch, Phagosite: Hysterarch, Phagosite: Miserarch, and the Fractsidus variants: Milliner, Mawdoll, and Ripper.
