These aren't random pickups scattered on the floor — each one sits in a specific spot tied to a particular checkpoint, and the in-game tracker only shows progress by type, not by chapter. The good news: nothing is missable. Chapter Select lets you jump directly to any checkpoint, and items save the moment you grab them, so you can quit out immediately without finishing the level.

Legacy Items are 9 special collectibles spread across 9 different chapters. Each one is a nod to Bond franchise history — iconic props and references that reward players who take time to explore beyond the main objective. Collecting all 9 earns you A Legacy of Spycraft, one of the more satisfying trophy unlocks in the game.
Because they span chapters 1 through 16, you'll likely miss several on a first playthrough. The checkpoint jump system makes cleanup fast: load the right checkpoint, grab the item, quit, repeat.

Legacy Item #1: Cruciform Key (Chapter 1)
Checkpoint: 06 Central Camp Active objective: Save the captives / Search containers B4 and G9
After dropping into the enemy camp, head straight for the F8 container. Step inside and look for the Cruciform Key sitting on a shelf. It's easy to walk past if you're focused on the main objective, so check the container before engaging enemies.
Legacy Item #2: Dagger Shoes (Chapter 7)
Checkpoint: 03 Field Equipment Active objective: Go to gadget testing
Back in the Q-Lab, turn right and enter Q-07 Wearables — the same room where you need to speak with Q for the main story. Complete the cutscene with Q first, then check the table. The Dagger Shoes are sitting right there after the conversation ends.

Legacy Item #3: Chess Biography (Chapter 8)
Checkpoint: 03 The Game Is On Active objective: Search the hotel
From the checkpoint start, you enter a large room filled with hotel guests. Take the stairs on the left down to the lower floor. At the bottom, turn right and walk to the end of the hallway past an elderly woman you can eavesdrop on. At the far end you'll find a seating area where two men are talking about an Aston Martin. The Chess Biography is on the small table between them.
Don't rush through this hallway. The eavesdrop opportunity near the elderly woman is separate from the Legacy Item — keep walking to the seating area at the very end.
Legacy Item #4: ATAC Device (Chapter 10)
Checkpoint: 03 Black Market Active objective: Obtain the auction fee (reach antenna in the crypto wallet)
This one takes a few steps. In the market, find the stall across from the shooting range at the back and trigger the eavesdrop where a man discusses a crypto wallet by phone. Track the "crypto wallet" objective via Touchpad, follow it out of the market, defeat the brute on the roof, then head to the signal tower (the marked objective that rewards $50,000). Just below the signal tower, drop down the ledges to a large metal beam. Follow the beam to the far end and pick up the ATAC Device from a crate.

Checkpoint: 05 Get Upstairs Active objective: Find the assassin
Head to the back left corner of the Gala and enter the Cafe. Once inside, the Concert Poster is in the back right corner on a table. Quick grab — no detours needed.

Checkpoint: 03 The Penthouse Active objective: Locate and open the safe
The moment you enter the penthouse, turn right. The Blades Club Badge is on the bar table immediately to your right. Grab it before you do anything else in the level.

Legacy Item #7: Tarot Deck (Chapter 14)
Checkpoint: 05 The Three Targets Active objective: Reach Ramon Hernandez
After the story conversation with Ramon in his villa, walk into the bedroom. The Tarot Deck is on the nightstand to the left of the bed. It's right after a mandatory story beat, so you won't miss the room — just remember to check the nightstand before leaving.

Checkpoint: 04 The Betrayal Active objective: Steal field equipment
Back in the Q-Lab, navigate to the Q-07 Wearables section near the elevator. Check the changing rooms in that area and you'll find the Trilby Hat waiting inside one of them.
Legacy Item #9: Jaws Design Specs (Chapter 16)
Checkpoint: 08 Robotics Department Active objective: Locate the Command Centre
After the elevator ride into the Robotics area, you enter a large room where robots are being tested. From the entrance, head to the left end of the room and check the corner. The Jaws Design Specs are on a crate. Don't get distracted by the robots — go left immediately and grab it.
How to clean up missed Legacy Items efficiently
Chapter Select makes this straightforward. Load the specific checkpoint listed for each item, grab it, and quit to the main menu. The save registers instantly — you don't need to reach the next checkpoint or finish the chapter.
