Absolum packs 37 achievements (38 trophies on PlayStation, including the Platinum) into a roguelite beat 'em up that Dotemu designed to reward exploration over grinding. Full completion runs roughly 15-20 hours on Xbox Series X|S, and the list is genuinely approachable: most unlocks happen naturally through play, with a handful of quest chains and character-specific challenges requiring deliberate effort.
What's the full list of Absolum achievements?
Below is every achievement and trophy in the game, organized by category with unlock conditions.
Boss kill achievements
Most boss achievements unlock through normal story progression. The main story funnels you toward the majority of these encounters. A few require specific detours or hidden areas.
Character-specific achievements
Four achievements require you to defeat the boss Azra with a specific character. These are separate runs, so plan accordingly.
These four stack naturally if you rotate characters across runs. Switching characters after each run triggers quest dialogue anyway, so you'll knock these out as part of normal progression.
Combat challenge achievements

Galandra Clash mechanic
Master Fencer is the one that trips people up. The lobby has a Trainer and a Dummy. Talk to the Trainer (options 1 and 3) to learn the Clash mechanic, which works like a sword parry: use your secondary attack against an incoming enemy attack. Practice here before taking it into a level.
For Flying High, you can use Cider's hook on the Dummy in the lobby and stay airborne for the full 15 seconds there, no combat pressure required.
Fired Up works by grabbing one enemy and throwing them into two others near a hole or lake, sending all three in at once. Karl's throwing ability makes this straightforward on any level with a pit.
For Never-ending Memories, the combo counter needs to reach above 130, though the counter can be buggy. Keep mixing up attacks and extending the combo as long as possible.
Quest and exploration achievements

Yeldrim region layout
These achievements require the most deliberate effort. Several quest chains span multiple runs.
Unbroken Song is one of the longer chains:
- Complete Vikhana's Tools quest in Jaroba to activate it
- Retrieve the lyre from the tavern keeper on the upper path in Grandery
- Return to the lobby and have Vikhana repair the lyre
- Perform a necromancy ritual using Galandra (acquire a green ritual at run start)
- Head to Yeldrim, open a tomb in the first region, destroy the coffin on the right, and escort the bard to the next rest area
Heart of the Mist requires hiring the goblin found after the tavern area, then jumping down behind the fallen tree trunk. Hit the Arrows between the two paths twice to reveal the direction to the skull.
A Knight's Tale builds directly on Heart of the Mist. Complete that quest first, then return to the lobby where Karl triggers a new conversation unlocking this quest. You'll need a skeleton key (random drop or purchasable for 150 crystals at the sanctuary once obtained previously) to unlock a door in the bottom path of Yeldrim and defeat the boss inside.
Great Old One involves a gate puzzle in Yeldrim. A figure appears and makes emote gestures (thumbs down and thumbs up). Mirror the gestures to open the gate. Proceed to the strange lights near a statue, break the vase, climb up, and align the lights to open the portal to the Interloper.
Naturalist is Karl's quest chain. It unlocks after Karl talks to Brome. Talk to Wisshelm as Karl, visit Wisshelm's office in Grandery, interact with the books, and head to the locked gate. Try to find a Dracoraptor mount and bring it alive to the locked gate, dismounting before each battle.
Enemy Sisters is a multi-run affair:
- Defeat Ambys normally on your first run in Jaroba
- On a second run, return to face her sister Tidae, then challenge Ambys again
- On a third run, face both sisters as a boss duo
- After winning, one sister will appear before the Jaroba boss (the Warlord) to help you. Keep her alive through that fight.
Leap of Faith requires the bottom path in Jaroba. Find the NPC in the hidden sanctuary, visit the prison to collect a key item, return in another run to speak to the NPC again, then clear an Azra patrol on the bottom path before the hidden sanctuary.
Miscellaneous achievements
For Animal Lover, the four mounts are Boar, Dragon, Flying Skull (found in Yeldrim), and Plant-Bug (below path in Jaroba). Stand in front of each and hold the mount key to pet them.
For Leaders Are Made, become a necromancer or pay companions, since you need 4 active at once.
How long does it take to get all achievements in Absolum?
Full completion runs 15-20 hours. The PlayStation version has 38 trophies (37 plus the Platinum, Saviour of Talamh, which requires all other trophies). The game is available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, which makes it easy to start without a big upfront commitment.
Tips for efficient completion
- Rotate through all four characters (Galandra, Brome, Karl, Cider) across runs to trigger quest dialogues and knock out the character-specific Azra achievements simultaneously
- Check the map for active quests each run since all active quests appear on it
- The Hearthroot upgrade chain (Fire Eternal) takes consistent investment across runs, so prioritize upgrades whenever crystals allow
- For The Hard Way, plan a run where you skip all rest points entirely. Crafting is still allowed
- The Archmage achievement for Brome can be earned by punching a mine cart and maintaining the combo score
