Forest of Falling Stars is one of the most species-rich zones in Aniimo, and getting the completion Badge here requires more than just wandering around until your Aniilog fills up. Several creatures only appear during specific weather conditions, others patrol exclusively at night, and a couple demand you complete zone quests before they even show up. This guide covers every species in the zone, where to find them, and what conditions you need to trigger before heading out.
Forest of Falling Stars contains 15 distinct species entries for the completion Badge, spanning common spawns you'll trip over on day one to conditional variants that require Rainy weather, active Prismana Flow, or nighttime patrols. The zone sits within Breezy Plains and also holds 32 chests, 1 Sanctum (Soaring Glide), 2 Pathfinder Challenges, and several Lumin Ambers for full 100% exploration.

Celestis is tied directly to the Forest of Falling Stars Journey Quest and spawns throughout the entire zone. You genuinely cannot miss it: look for a large blue squirrel-like creature with a yellow star on its forehead. It is one of the most visible Aniimo in Idyll.
Stellarys is Celestis's evolution and the zone's Alpha Aniimo. The Alpha Stellarys spawns north of the central Outpost, sitting in the middle of a star-shaped grassland. You can also obtain Stellarys through Wild Surges (Blooms) via the Nurture system if one appears during those events. Check our Alpha Aniimo locations guide for the exact spawn coordinates and battle tips.
Rainstorm Form Stellarys only spawns during Stormy or Rainy weather on the west shore of Forest of Falling Stars. It walks the shoreline as a single individual, so this is a one-shot capture opportunity per weather cycle. Plan your route here alongside Beach Tromber since both require rain and their spawns are close together.
Prismana Form Stellarys requires you to activate the Prismana Flow in Forest of Falling Stars through the Nurture mechanic. Filling the Prismana Flow bar takes Prismatic Energy, which can be slow to accumulate. Special events that double energy gain in specific areas exist, so wait for one of those before grinding the bar. Prismana Stellarys carries both Dark and Ice elements, making it one of the more unusual dual-type DPS options in the zone.
| Stellarys Form | Spawn Condition | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Stellarys | Alpha spawn, Wild Surges | North of central Outpost, star-shaped grassland |
| Rainstorm Form | Rainy or Thunderstorm weather | West shore |
| Prismana Form | Prismana Flow active | Forest of Falling Stars (zone-wide during event) |
Eko is a small bat-like Wind Aniimo that only appears at night or near dark areas. A couple of them lurk around the Soaring Glide Sanctum. Approach from behind by following the path at the foot of the stairs: this guarantees a 100% capture rate and skips the fight entirely.
Eklue, Eko's evolution, is significantly rarer. Only one individual spawns per night, appearing on the right side of the Soaring Glide Sanctum near the stairs. It patrols slowly, giving you multiple windows to approach from behind for a guaranteed capture. Missing it means waiting until the next night cycle.

Forest Iris is the deep purple regional form of this flower-type Aniimo. You will find it on the borders of the Nest of Stars and on the northern plateau overlooking the sea. It is notably shy, so stealth is required to get close enough for a clean capture attempt.
Forest Irisal, Iris's evolution, spawns on that same northern plateau but only at night, and only one individual roams the area at a time. Irisal can also be obtained by evolving a Forest Iris while in Forest of Falling Stars at night, but for the completion Badge, only the wild-caught Irisal counts. Both carry the Grass element and the Disco Aniimo trait, which builds Dance Power stacks to eventually cast a free skill.

Beach Chirpy and Beach Cornet spend their time together on the border with Echoback Landing, perched on the stone columns that jut out of the shore. Listen for them: they can be heard rehearsing a song together. Bring enough Aniimo Spheres to capture the whole group in one visit.
Beach Tromber is Chirpy's rain-dependent evolution and appears on the beach near the river only when it rains. It will actively defend the smaller Chirpy family members when you approach, so expect a fight. Since Beach Tromber spawns close to Rainstorm Form Stellarys, it is efficient to sweep both targets during the same rain window.

Skippy and Pranky are both Water element Aniimo with the Water Spirit trait, which cuts EP costs by 16% while in water terrain. They are easy to find: both species hang out along the river banks running through the center of Forest of Falling Stars. Skippy looks like a small blue toad, while Pranky leans more toward an axolotl shape. You cannot miss them if you follow the river.

Hummin is a Grass element Break-role Aniimo found throughout the green sections of the zone. It also appears near the Nest of Stars and around the creek and water bodies in the center. During the day, Hummin buries itself in the ground or hides under piles of leaves. At night, groups of them emerge and roam openly, making nighttime the far easier window for captures.

Sea of Flowers Pomegg is the trickiest standard spawn in the zone. The moment it spots you moving nearby, it curls into its eggshell and rolls away at high speed. The only reliable approach is catching one while it sleeps. Pomeggs appear across the central areas of Forest of Falling Stars, so keep scanning the ground as you travel. Its Tuning trait stacks Volume up to 6 times, then grants 20% Crit Rate for 15 seconds, making it a decent Break option once you learn its rotation.
