Beast Fang Ridge is one of the more demanding areas in Aniimo when it comes to completing the Collection Badge. The region sits within Breezy Plains and packs 20 distinct Aniimo species into its forest paths, frozen caverns, and open plains, including a secret spawn that doesn't count toward the badge but matters for a specific quest. Several of those 20 require specific weather conditions, nighttime visits, or a Nurture setup at the local Bloom, so simply wandering the map won't cut it.
There are 20 species total in Beast Fang Ridge, though only 19 count toward the Collection Badge. The 20th is a special secret spawn tied to the Warrior Journey Quest. The area is split between Fire-element creatures dominating the central forest and Ice-element creatures clustered near the Frozen Caverns and Sanctum zones.
Emberpup and Mountain Woods Emberpup are the most common creatures in the area. Both roam the central zones freely, with the Mountain Woods variant concentrated in the Withered Forest. Flameruff and Mountain Woods Flameruff lead packs of Emberpups, with the basic form appearing near the border with Echoback Landing and the Mountain Woods form deeper in the central forest.
Scorchhowl is trickier. You won't find it roaming freely. Your two options are fighting the Alpha Scorchhowl (located east of Sanctum: Water to Ice inside a three-stone monolith at coordinates -1304, 1364) or using the Nurture mechanic at the Beast Fang Ridge Bloom to make one spawn.

Aniimo Guide: All Aniimo Locations in Beast Fang Ridge
Scorchhowl (Thunderstorm Form) only appears during active stormy weather, at a rock circle in the northern outskirts of the forest. Watch for falling lightning to pinpoint its exact spot. Scorchhowl (Prismana Form) requires triggering a Prismana Flow at the westernmost side of Beast Fang Ridge, then sustaining Nurture rounds until the bar fills. Players have needed between 10 and 20 Nurture rounds to trigger the spawn, so set aside time for this one.
Sparki is a nighttime-only spawn that glows visibly from a long distance. Find it near the center of the forest next to a flaming rock and in the outskirts north of the Withered Clearing. Flamerion, Sparki's evolution, appears after catching 15 Sparkis in a row during the night, and also roams near that same burning rock in the forest center. If you spot it unguarded, a backstab shot gives you the cleanest capture attempt.
Bonesky, Fenrier, and Glynsera are the Ice-element trio in Beast Fang Ridge, and all three are linked to the Frigid Waters Sanctum area. Bonesky and Fenrier roam together on the outskirts near the Frozen Caverns. Glynsera is harder to reach: the Alpha Glynsera hides south of Sanctum: Water to Ice, below an ice cave blocked by flammable vines or solid ice. You can also catch a regular Glynsera by using the Bloom and summoning Bonesky during Wild Surges.

| Chirpi | Outskirts, near Echoback Landing border | Approach from behind |
| Budclaw | River leading to Echoback Landing | Approach from highland above |
| Highland Pomegg | Roads surrounding the woods | Camouflaged as leaf pile |
| Glynsera (Nighttime Form) | Cave behind Alpha Glynsera spawn | Warrior Quest + nighttime |
| Glynsera (Prismana Form) | Beast Fang Ridge Bloom | Vein Abundance + Prismana Flow |
This one is tied to the Warrior Journey Quest. Drop into the caverns behind the Alpha Glynsera spawn location and find the NPC Aniimo called Old Recas. Defeat it. After that, return to the same spot during nighttime and Glynsera (Nighttime Form) will appear. This variant doesn't count toward the Collection Badge, but you'll need it for the Inferlupa-related quest progression.
The second secret spawn requires Beast Fang Ridge to be under Vein Abundance status. When that condition is active, triggering a Prismana Flow at the Bloom replaces the usual Prismana Scorchhowl encounter with Glynsera (Prismana Form) instead. Keep an eye on the area's status before burning your Nurture rounds.

Aniimo Guide: All Aniimo Locations in Beast Fang Ridge
Mountain Woods Gracewing only spawns once or twice per rotation from the leaf piles near the Flutternym zone. Hit the piles with an impact or break attack to reveal it, and catch it on the first attempt. Wasting a rotation on a failed catch means waiting through the full respawn cycle.
Chirpi is timid and will flee if approached head-on. Work around to its back before throwing. It appears on the outskirts of Beast Fang Ridge near the Echoback Landing limits.
Budclaw hides along the river running toward Echoback Landing. Climb to the highland overlooking the riverbank to get the angle for a backstab capture attempt.
Highland Pomegg blends into leaf piles on the roads around the forest. Catching it while it's actively walking the road paths is far easier than trying to identify it while stationary.
Three Alpha Aniimo live in Beast Fang Ridge, each tied to a specific sub-location:
For a full breakdown of Alpha catch strategies and the materials each one drops, the Aniimo Alpha locations and catch guide covers every Alpha across Idyll.
Beast Fang Ridge has two Sanctums: Frigid Waters and Rising Flame. Both are worth tracking down for loot and special encounters. For a complete rundown on what's inside each one, the Aniimo Sanctum locations guide has every dungeon mapped out.
There's also a hidden Cave 7 at coordinates -1140, 1384. Inside, you'll find a campfire that needs to be extinguished multiple times to reveal a Sparki. Defeat that Sparki to unlock the chest inside.
Beast Fang Ridge rewards patient players who understand its weather and time-of-day systems. The Thunderstorm Scorchhowl, the two Glynsera secret forms, and the Prismana variants all require specific setups, but none of them are random. Once you know the conditions, getting the full 20 is a matter of execution.
