The Riven Tides update dropped five new collectible ship models into ARC Raiders, and they're not just decorative clutter. Each one feeds directly into the Last Resort Live Event by awarding Merits on extraction, with the rarest one paying out 250 Merits in a single run. Here's everything you need to know to find them efficiently and stop leaving free progress on the table.
What are ship models in ARC Raiders?
Ship models are a new category of Trinket introduced with the Riven Tides update. Like all trinkets, they don't have a fixed map marker, so the game won't point you toward them. They spawn across the Riven Tides map and vary in rarity from Common to Legendary. There are exactly five distinct models to find.
The real reason to chase them is the Miniature Voyages event (part of the broader Last Resort Live Event, which runs April 28 to May 25). You earn Merits primarily through XP, but extracting a ship model gives you a flat Merit bonus on top of that, which accelerates progress through the reward track considerably.

All ship models and their Merit values
All five models are tied to the Riven Tides map. The rarity tier determines both how hard the model is to find and how many Merits it pays out when you extract safely.
The gap between Epic and Legendary is steep. A single Leviathan's Crown is worth five times a Sirena Dorata and fifty times a Wind Sprite. That said, hunting the Legendary specifically is a high-variance play, and most consistent Merit farming comes from the mid-tier models.
Ship models do not have fixed spawn locations. Their positions shift between raids, so there's no single guaranteed spot to check every run.
Where to find ship models on Riven Tides
Hotel Panorama Azzurro
The Hotel Panorama Azzurro, located on the western section of the Riven Tides map, is the most reliable place to find ship models across multiple rarities. After testing this location across several raids, Common and Uncommon models turned up consistently, with Rare spawns appearing occasionally.
Once inside the building, head to the ground floor and work through the reception area. Models tend to appear on sofas and chairs in the hallways, particularly in the northeast section of the ground floor. The Velocity model (Rare, 25 Merits) has been reported on a sofa in that northeast hallway specifically. These items are small and easy to miss during a firefight, so clear the area before looting.

Check every sofa carefully
Enter Riven Tides early in a raid cycle. Other players are hunting the same models, and the Hotel gets contested fast. Getting in before the lobby fills up meaningfully improves your odds.
Beachcombing map condition
For Sirena Dorata and Leviathan's Crown, the standard hotel sweep probably won't cut it. The most reliable method for higher-rarity models is the Beachcombing minor map condition. When this condition is active, head to the beach with a Dockmaster's Detector in hand. The detector lets you locate buried containers in the sand, and those containers have a meaningfully higher chance of containing Epic or Legendary ship models.
The Dockmaster's Detector is obtained during the first phase of the Avian Alarm project. It's not a guarantee, but Beachcombing runs are currently the most consistent path to the high-value models.
Even with the Dockmaster's Detector during Beachcombing, Epic and Legendary models are still subject to RNG. Don't burn through consumables expecting a guaranteed drop.

Beachcombing boosts rare model odds
How to extract ship models safely
Finding a model is only half the work. You need to extract with it to receive the Merit bonus. A few things to keep in mind:
- Travel light. Carrying too much loot slows your character significantly. If you're specifically running for ship models, prioritize speed over looting everything in sight.
- Use the Customs House exit. The Customs Elevator at the Customs House is the closest extraction point to the Hotel Panorama Azzurro, according to Deltia's Gaming. Plan your route before you enter the building.
- Adrenaline Shot helps. Using an Adrenaline Shot quickly restores stamina and boosts regeneration speed temporarily, which matters when you're sprinting to extract with a contested item.
- After extraction, ship models can be sold for coins if you no longer need the Merit contribution.
Other players will be farming the same models. If you pick up a high-rarity model, treat the rest of the raid as an extraction run rather than a looting session.
Is it worth farming ship models specifically?
For casual Last Resort progress, probably not. The Merit gains from Common and Uncommon models are modest (5 and 10 Merits respectively), and XP from normal raiding will carry most of your event progress anyway. The math changes significantly if you can consistently land Velocity (25 Merits) or above.
The Legendary Leviathan's Crown at 250 Merits is a massive single-run bonus, but it's purely luck-dependent even under ideal Beachcombing conditions. Treat it as a nice surprise rather than a farming target.
