Unleash the Power of the Warmind with the Seventh Seraph Armor Set

Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph has brought a complete overhaul to the Destination loot pool. Each Destination now has a dedicated armor set and group of weapons rewarded from activities on that Destination. These older armor sets have been refreshed with new armor set bonuses that open up powerful buildcrafting potential , and one of the most notable belongs to the Seventh Seraph Armor. This guide covers how to get Seventh Seraph Armor to drop and the best methods for farming armor pieces at high tiers.

What Does Seventh Seraph Armor Do?

The Seventh Seraph armor is tied to Rasputin, the Warmind of Destiny lore. Rasputin was a supercomputer built to defend humanity , immensely powerful before he sacrificed himself to save the Last City. The armor set bonus lets Guardians tap into Rasputin's power through Warmind Charges, making it an excellent choice for many PvE activities.

  • 2-Piece Bonus , Rasputin's Wrath: Final blows with area-of-effect damage, Solar abilities, Seventh Seraph weapons, or IKELOS weapons grant Warmind Charges. Each stack of Warmind Charge increases Weapons and Grenade stats.
  • 4-Piece Bonus , Rasputin's Reprisal: While Warmind Charges are active, defeating powerful combatants, destroying a construct, or destroying a Tangle releases a Solar detonation that damages combatants and heals allies. Constructs include barricades, turrets, Stasis crystals, and other objects created in the field.

Where to Farm Seventh Seraph Armor

Seventh Seraph Armor drops in the Cosmodrome Destination. It can come from enemies, chests, and activities found there, though standard drops are limited to lower tiers. Two methods exist for farming high-tier pieces, each with distinct advantages and trade-offs.

Distortion Heroic Public Events and Breaches (Recommended for New Players)

Every hour, one Destination in Destiny 2 becomes Distorted. Distortions make enemies stronger but also increase the tier of gear that drops from Destination activities. Completing Heroic Public Events and the Distortion Breaches that follow rewards Tier 5 weapons and armor from that Destination, along with unique Distortion weapons.

To see which Destination is currently Distorted and view the schedule for upcoming Distortions, check the Distortion tracker.

Upsides:

  • Accessible enough for new players to complete Public Events and Breaches without issue
  • The only way to obtain Seventh Seraph weapons at Tier 5, which pair directly with the armor set bonuses
  • Earning both armor and weapons lets Guardians benefit from Warmind Charges without needing a dedicated build first

Downsides:

  • Public Events and Distortion Breaches have downtime between spawns, making this a slower farming loop
  • Distortions only last one hour and rotate through all Destinations before returning to the Cosmodrome, limiting available farming windows

Master Difficulty Lost Sectors (Recommended for Experienced Players)

Each day, one Lost Sector per location becomes available at Legend and Master difficulty. Completing a Master Lost Sector in the Cosmodrome rewards a Tier 5 piece of Seventh Seraph Armor.

Upsides:

  • The fastest method for farming Tier 5 Seventh Seraph Armor , completions can take just minutes with a strong build
  • Always available in the Cosmodrome; no waiting for a Distortion window
  • Also drops Tier 5 weapons from the general World Drop loot pool
  • Solo completions can reward Exotic Engrams

Downsides:

  • Requires a high Power Level to survive , newer Guardians will struggle with enemy difficulty
  • Does not reward Seventh Seraph weapons, so build synergy from this activity alone is limited
tip
If you are a newer Guardian, start with Distortion events to collect both the armor and Seventh Seraph weapons together. Once your Power Level is high enough, switch to Master Lost Sectors for faster Tier 5 armor farming.

Seventh Seraph Armor Builds

The Seventh Seraph armor set supports a variety of builds, each with different approaches to generating and spending Warmind Charges. Here are the most effective archetypes.

Solar Builds

Warmind Charges are generated by area-of-effect damage and Solar ability kills , both of which Solar builds produce in abundance. Solar abilities create Charges directly, and so do ignitions triggered by Solar abilities and weapon perks. While these builds are not typically structured around triggering Rasputin's Reprisal, the many powerful enemies present in activities will naturally proc the detonation. The resulting healing stacks with Solar's already strong survivability toolkit across all classes. For a practical example, see this Monument of Triumph Solar Hunter build guide.

Stasis Crystal Builds

Stasis crystals interact with both armor set bonuses in meaningful ways. Shattering Stasis crystals and frozen enemies counts as area-of-effect damage, building Warmind Charges through Rasputin's Wrath. Stasis crystals are also constructs, so destroying them triggers the Rasputin's Reprisal Solar detonation. Crucially, the healing from Rasputin's Reprisal addresses Stasis's main weakness: the lack of built-in healing compared to subclasses like Solar. Since Stasis builds are constantly creating and destroying crystals, Warmind Charge uptime is high and Rasputin's Reprisal procs frequently. For a detailed example, see our Monument of Triumph Stasis Hunter build guide.

Any Build Using Seventh Seraph or IKELOS Weapons

The Seventh Seraph weapons from the Cosmodrome and the IKELOS weapons from the Operation: Seraph Shield Pinnacle Ops activity are strong choices for PvE content. Primary Ammo weapons carry excellent perks for elemental synergy, while Special and Heavy Ammo weapons come with some of the best damage perks available for their weapon types.

The introduction of the Seventh Seraph armor set bonuses makes these weapons even more valuable , kills with them generate Warmind Charges automatically. The Weapons stat increase from Rasputin's Wrath further boosts weapon damage and ammo generation. While these weapons cannot create constructs or Tangles, they still trigger Rasputin's Reprisal detonations by efficiently defeating powerful enemies.

tip
You do not need a dedicated Stasis or Solar build to benefit from the Seventh Seraph armor. Simply equipping Seventh Seraph or IKELOS weapons is enough to start generating Warmind Charges and accessing both set bonuses.

Summary

The Seventh Seraph Armor is one of the strongest armor set bonuses available in Destiny 2's Monument of Triumph update, offering meaningful benefits to a wide range of builds and playstyles. Whether you farm it through Distortion events as a new player or grind Master Lost Sectors for fast Tier 5 drops, the armor is well worth pursuing.
