Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide: How to Get All Star Path Vault Rewards

The Star Path Vault is one of the newer additions to Disney Dreamlight Valley's seasonal event system, and if you missed it when it launched alongside the Elements of Nature Star Path, you're probably wondering what it actually does and whether it's worth your time. Short answer: yes, especially if you skipped any previous Star Path events.

What is the Star Path Vault in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The Star Path Vault is a secondary reward track that runs parallel to the main seasonal event. It exists to give players who missed earlier Star Paths a shot at claiming items from those past events. Think of it as a rotating catalog of old rewards that refreshes with each new seasonal event.

The Vault splits its offerings into two types:

  • Returning items from previous Star Path events, unchanged from their original release
  • Refreshed versions of old items, which may be recolored, redesigned, or otherwise updated

How do you unlock Star Path Vault rewards?

Vault prizes unlock through completing routine duties during the active event. The Elements of Nature Star Path offers 7 Vault prizes spread across 7 weeks of routine duties. The math is simple: finish 3 routine duties, claim 1 Vault prize.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Prizes must be claimed in order. You cannot pick and choose which items you grab first.
  • Completing all weekly duties before the event ends means you'll collect every Vault prize available.
  • Routine duties also generate Tokens for the main event shop, making them the most efficient tasks to prioritize during any active Star Path.

What's the difference between free and premium Vault rewards?

Each Vault collection includes both free items and premium items. Here's the breakdown:

If you're playing on the free track and reach a premium item in the Vault queue, the system automatically skips it and lets you continue claiming free items further down the line. You won't be stuck or blocked from progressing just because you haven't upgraded.

What happens if you already own a Vault item?

This is where the system actually gets smart. If a Vault prize is something you already have in your collection, you won't just get a duplicate or nothing at all. Instead, you receive a red chest containing a different item you don't already own.

That makes the Vault worth engaging with even if you've been playing since launch and completed multiple previous Star Paths. You're not going to walk away empty-handed just because you showed up early.

The developers have also mentioned that the Star Path Vault system may evolve in future updates based on player feedback, so the exact structure could shift over time.

Which routine duties should you prioritize?

For the Elements of Nature Star Path, some of the easier routine duties to clear early include planting 20 enriching orange squash, crafting a garden-boosting potion, and planting 20 corny golden crops. These tasks show up reliably in the current event rotation.

Knocking these out early means you're not scrambling in the final week of the event to unlock Vault prizes you could have had weeks ago.
