Players can engage in detailed battle planning or rely on automated resolution, accommodating different play preferences. The strategic layer encompasses diplomacy, research, city development, and resource management, creating multiple paths to victory.
Combat encounters range from small skirmishes to epic battles involving multiple armies. The tactical combat system rewards positioning, unit composition, and terrain awareness, while the overarching strategic game emphasizes long-term planning and adaptation to Saiadha's changing conditions.
