You can find all eight Sprite Extraction Sites for Fortnite Treasure Hunters spread across the map near Lantern Landing, Plunder Port, Loot Lagoon, and Fortune’s Plunder. These stations let you securely bank your Sprites, though each crate takes time to arrive. Choose a site before starting your loot route so you have a clear destination for your valuables. This guide details every location on the Treasure Hunters map, along with deposit steps and Sprite Dust services.
All Extraction Site locations in Treasure Hunters
The eight sites are divided across five areas. Each checklist box below represents one station, including separate boxes for areas containing two.

Choose a stop near your route
The areas on either side of Lantern Landing account for half the map’s stations. If you are already collecting loot around that location, consider the stretches toward Windmill Village and Cursed Cavern before committing to a longer journey elsewhere.
Use the paired landmarks in the table to identify your search area. Plunder Port has a site at the named location, while the remaining groups sit between the listed points of interest. Head toward the extraction area that fits your current position and the space you can safely travel through.
Distance is only part of the decision. You also need time to wait for the extraction process, so avoid planning a stop that leaves you rushing to deposit your Sprite while you need to move elsewhere.
Plan a route that ends at an Extraction Site
Wanted Posters drop Sprite Treasure Maps, which lead to buried Sprite Chests. Work Fortnite Wanted Poster locations into your route when you want a Sprite pickup followed by a nearby extraction stop.
Sprite Chests guarantee a Sprite. Ordinary Chests can also drop one, but the chance is low, making them less dependable when your main goal is finding something new to extract. Prioritize a Sprite Chest when choosing between a planned collection stop and an uncertain chest search.
Eliminated players also drop their equipped Sprites. If you collect one during a fight, reassess your destination before continuing your original loot route. An unexpected pickup can make a nearby extraction stop more useful than another search area.
Open nearby Fortnite Pirate Treasure Chests along your approach if you need ammunition. Finish restocking before activating the station so you can watch your surroundings during the wait instead of leaving to search for supplies.
Check for other players before you start the extraction sequence. A station outside a named location is not automatically safe, and waiting for a crate leaves time for another player to approach.
How to use an Extraction Site
The pirate-themed pipe organ controls extraction at a Treasure Hunters site. The nearby Sprite Dust Services terminal handles purchases, so approach the organ when you want to send a Sprite to your collection.

Call in your extraction crate
Call the crate and deposit your Sprites
Follow this sequence at the station:
- Activate the pipe organ. Interact with it to open a rift and call the Sprite Extraction Crate.
- Wait for the crate to arrive. Watch for approaching players while the crate drops onto the island.
- Make the deposit. Once the crate has landed, interact with it to place your Sprites inside. Reaching the organ alone does not complete extraction.
- Let the sequence finish. After a short cooldown, the crate rifts away with the deposited Sprites.
The organ and the crate serve different parts of the process. Use the organ to start the call, then move to the crate for the deposit. Do not mistake the rift opening for a completed extraction.
What happens after you deposit a Sprite?
A crate deposit is final: you cannot remove a Sprite after placing it inside. Check that you want to commit it to your collection before making the deposit.
Deposited Sprites remain safe even if you are eliminated afterward. You can visit your Sprite Garden later to view and interact with the Sprites you extracted.

Sprite Dust services at Extraction Sites
Open Sprite Dust Services at a station to spend Sprite Dust on extraction supplies, weapon upgrades, or XP. These purchases are separate from calling the crate.
| Service | What it does | When to consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Portable Extractor | Lets you extract Sprites away from fixed Extraction Sites | You want a backup for a route that does not pass a station |
| Weapon upgrade | Raises the rarity of the weapon you are holding | You want to improve that weapon before continuing the match |
| Daily XP token | Grants 20,000 XP, once a day | You want additional Battle Pass progress |
Choose a service for a specific need. A weapon upgrade helps your current equipment, a Portable Extractor gives you another extraction option, and the XP token serves progression. Avoid treating the terminal as another required step in depositing a Sprite.
When to save a Portable Extractor
Fixed Extraction Sites can be used repeatedly after a short cooldown. Favor a reachable station for routine deposits when you have enough time for its crate sequence.
Portable Extractors are harder to obtain, so building a reserve through Fortnite Portable Extractor methods is useful before you rely on them throughout a collection route. Keep that backup for a pickup you want to secure when traveling to a fixed site would be impractical.
If you arrive carrying a Sprite you want to keep, complete its crate deposit before spending time on optional purchases.
