Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has no shortage of scavenger hunt quests, but the Audio Log mission sits near the top of the frustration list. These items are small, spread across opposite ends of the map, and easy to walk right past without the right directions. The good news is that all three have fixed spawn locations, so once you know where to look, the whole thing takes one match if you play it smart.
Where are all the Audio Log locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3?
There are exactly three Audio Logs hidden around the Chapter 7 Season 3 island. They spawn at fixed locations tied to specific buildings, so there is no randomness involved. The challenge is purely navigation since the three spots are far apart from each other.
Before heading out, know that every Audio Log shows a white diamond exclamation point icon on your screen once you get close enough. Step into the same room as one and you will also see white sparkles floating around it. Use both of these visual cues to confirm you are in the right building before spending too long searching.

Find the audio log map spots
Audio Log 1: Shaken Sanctuary
Shaken Sanctuary sits near the southeast end of the island. Head to the main POI and cross to the building on the left side of the river that runs through the area. Go inside and look at the floor in front of a whiteboard. The Audio Log is sitting right there on the ground, small enough to miss if you are sprinting through.
Audio Log 2: East of Calamari Canyon (unnamed building)
This one is the trickiest of the three because it has no named POI attached to it. The building you want is a small metal shack sitting on a small cliff. To orient yourself, find the large cluster of floating Zero Point Shards near the center of the map. The shack is close to that cluster, positioned east of Calamari Canyon, north of Sinister Strip, west of Frosted Flats, and south of The Battlewoods.
Once inside the metal building, the Audio Log is on the ground right by the entrance. It is a tiny structure, so there is no real searching required once you are at the correct spot.
Audio Log 3: Lifty Lodge
Lifty Lodge is up in the northwest corner of the island in the snowy mountain region. Make your way to the ski lift area and head to the building at the top. On the main floor, the third Audio Log is sitting next to a wooden bench. It is one of the more straightforward finds once you reach the correct POI.

How do you complete the Audio Log quest?
Finding the logs is only half the job. To actually register progress on the quest, you need to listen to each Audio Log after locating it. Walk up to the log and hold the button shown next to the "Listen to Audio Log" prompt. Do not tap it and walk away. The game requires you to hear the full message before it counts.
Skipping the listening step is the most common reason players find all three locations and still see zero quest progress. Each log ties into the main season storyline, so the content itself is worth a few seconds of your time anyway.
Tips for completing this quest efficiently
- Land at Lifty Lodge first if you want to start in a less contested area, then work your way south and east.
- The unnamed metal shack near the Zero Point Shards is the easiest to miss. Mark the area before dropping and approach from above if possible.
- Audio Logs are not affected by other players. Nobody can pick them up or destroy them, so take your time at each location.
- The quest rewards XP that feeds into the season's main progression track, making it worth completing even if the storyline is not your priority.
