Find Doris, collect every Rainbow Bouquet, and catch rainbow-exclusive fish and insects before the six-hour window closes.

The Rainbow Event in Heartopia is a limited-time weather event that only lasts about six in-game hours, but it packs in exclusive rewards, rare collectibles, and useful buffs. Since it doesn't happen daily and can't be triggered manually, catching one requires a bit of planning. This guide covers everything needed to make the most of it once the sky turns rainbow.

What Is the Rainbow Event in Heartopia?

The Rainbow Event is a rare weather condition, similar to meteor showers, that shows up occasionally rather than on a fixed daily schedule. When it does happen, it always starts at 6 PM server time and runs for one full weather cycle, roughly six hours. During that window, a rainbow appears somewhere on the map, and that visual is the main cue for finding everything tied to the event.

tip
Check the in-game watch and tap the weather icon to pull up the weekly forecast. A rainbow icon on any upcoming day means the event is scheduled, so it's worth checking regularly to avoid missing it.

Where Do You Find Doris During the Rainbow Event?

Doris, a special vendor, only shows up during the Rainbow Event, and she always appears directly underneath the rainbow. Finding her means looking up at the sky, spotting where the rainbow lands, and heading toward that spot. Her exact location shifts depending on the map layout, showing up near cliffs, lakes, or open fields.

Her shop during this window carries items that aren't available anywhere else, including the Roll Cake Recipe, Colored Sugar, postcards, and a limited Rainbow Emote that's only available once per event.

What Are Rainbow Bouquets?

Rainbow Bouquets are one of the bigger draws of the event. Up to three can be collected per Rainbow Event, and each one grants a 30-minute Rainbow Blessing. This buff raises the star rating on activities like fishing, cooking, and crafting, and adds a chance at extra rewards while gathering materials. It also raises the odds of getting Rainbow Breeding Powder while watering plants, which comes in handy for flower crossbreeding. The blessing isn't just personal either , it can benefit nearby players too, making it worth activating around friends.

Bouquets show up as floating bubbles with a rainbow clover inside, and popping one turns it into a full Rainbow Bouquet. Three spawn per event:

tip
The home location can shift between sessions, but the other two Onsen Mountain spots stay consistent every time.

What Fish Only Appear During Rainbow Weather?

A handful of fish only bite during Rainbow Events, making it a solid window to knock out fishing goals. Most need a decent skill level, but they're worth the effort for progression and collection purposes:

Fishing during the event pairs especially well with an active Rainbow Blessing, since it boosts catch quality on top of everything else.

What Insects Only Appear During Rainbow Weather?

Rainbow weather also brings out a few insects that don't show up otherwise:

How Do You Make the Most of the Six-Hour Window?

Since the event only lasts six hours, having a rough plan going in helps a lot. Grabbing all three Rainbow Bouquets first is usually the priority, since activating the blessing early means more time to benefit from it. From there, lean into whatever the blessing boosts , fishing or crafting , before tracking down Doris and checking her shop.

warning
There's no fixed schedule for the next Rainbow Event. Missing one means waiting for the next cycle, which can take a while, so check the weather forecast often once the current window closes.

Any leftover time is well spent gathering resources or hunting the rare fish and insects listed above, since material quality and catch rates both get a bump during the event.
