Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a science-fiction action-adventure developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 5. It centers on Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter whose story takes her to the distant planet Sempiria.
Tati Gabrielle plays Jordan, placing a named, performed protagonist at the center of the adventure. Naughty Dog, the studio behind Uncharted and The Last of Us, introduces an original science-fiction universe, moving beyond the Earthbound settings associated with those series.

Sempiria and the escape objective
Sempiria loses contact with the outside universe hundreds of years before Jordan's predicament. The story takes place thousands of years in the future, but its immediate problem is isolation: a bounty hunter becomes stranded on a planet cut off from the wider universe.
Jordan's objective is to become the first person in more than 600 years to leave Sempiria's orbit. That specific boundary defines the adventure's central challenge, with escape extending beyond departure from the planet's surface.
Her survival depends on her skills and judgment. The premise ties an individual character's predicament to a much longer planetary mystery, bringing Jordan into a situation that predates her arrival by generations.
Retro-futurist design and music
The reveal trailer gives the science-fiction setting a retro-futurist look. Jordan's spacecraft contains bulky displays, physical controls, and a disc-based music player, placing familiar consumer technology inside a spacefaring world. An animated program plays on a cabin screen, adding another personal detail to the shipboard scene.
The interior also establishes Jordan's working environment. Screens, personal objects, and entertainment hardware occupy the enclosed cabin, contrasting with the open ground of the sword encounter.
Real-world branding forms part of that presentation. The spacecraft bears the Porsche name, Sony appears on the music hardware, and Jordan wears Adidas shoes. These recognizable designs ground the distant-future setting in objects associated with everyday life.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross compose the original score for the sci-fi action-adventure. The reveal trailer also features the Pet Shop Boys song It's a Sin, an existing track separate from the composers' original music.
