The fastest way to fall behind in Mongil: Star Dive is to log in every day and do the wrong things first
The game resets at 12:00 AM UTC daily, and every reset brings a fresh batch of activities that directly feed your character progression. Spend your Keys in the wrong place, skip Conquest, or ignore the Requests Board, and you'll watch other players pull ahead on gear and Monsterlings without understanding why. This guide ranks every daily task by impact so you know exactly where to put your time.

Paths Key cost and auto-clear
What are the highest-priority dailies in Mongil: Star Dive?
Based on the priority rankings documented by both Game8 and GameWith, two activities sit firmly at the top: spending Keys in Paths and spending Entry Tickets in Conquest. Everything else is secondary.
Spend your Keys in Paths first
Paths are the dedicated farming nodes for character training materials, Artifact enhancement resources, and equipment crafting supplies. Each run costs a flat 10 Keys regardless of which Path or difficulty you choose. That flat cost matters because there is no efficiency penalty for tackling harder content once you can clear it.
Keys recover at 1 every 12 minutes, which means a full recovery from zero takes 20 hours. The cap sits at 100 Keys. If you hit the cap and leave them sitting, you are losing stamina regeneration with nothing to show for it. Make spending Keys your first action after logging in.
info
Once you clear a Path for the first time, auto-clear unlocks for that node. No skip items required. Set up auto-clear on your highest-yield Paths and you can burn through your Keys in under a minute.
Keys also have a secondary use outside of Paths. According to Game8, spare Keys are required to spawn chests after dungeon challenges, and those Keys can exceed a cap of 100, so staying on top of your Paths spending keeps your entire Key economy healthy.
Run Conquest every day
Conquest lets you rematch the powerful bosses you defeated at the end of story episodes. Clearing them earns Tokens redeemable in the exclusive Conquest shop, materials for 5-star equipment, and boss-specific Monsterlings you cannot get anywhere else.
Conquest does not use your regular Keys. It runs on separate Conquest Entry Tickets, which refresh to 3 tickets at 4 PM PST daily, according to GameWith. That means the target is simple: run 3 Conquest fights every day without exception.
danger
Like Paths, Conquest unlocks a skip feature once you clear a stage. Aim to clear the highest stage you can beat, then auto-skip subsequent daily runs to save time.
How do Daily Quests and Requests work?
Daily Quests: hit 100 Contribution every day
Daily Quests track your activity across all content and award Adventure Level EXP and Starlight Crystals as you hit contribution milestones. The daily maximum is 3,000 Adventure EXP and 50 Starlight Crystals, earned by reaching 100 Contribution. Starlight Crystals are the pull currency, so treating this as optional is a mistake.
One useful feature: Daily Quest rewards store for up to 7 days. You can claim a week's worth in one session if you miss a few days, but only for quests you actually completed. Skipping the content means the rewards never accumulate.
Requests: five per day, always worth taking
The Requests Board at the Gathering Hub pins up to 5 daily monster-hunting assignments. Each completed request pays 300 Adventure Level EXP regardless of which enemy you target. That adds up to 1,500 EXP per day just from Requests alone.
The smarter angle: accepting a Request causes those specific monsters to spawn in the field. If you need particular monster materials for crafting, use Requests to force spawns of the enemies that drop what you need. According to GameWith, this makes Requests especially valuable in the early game when your crafting queue is constantly hungry for materials.
info
Requests and Daily Quests both reset at 12:00 AM UTC when the server resets. Plan your session around that window if you want to double-dip on the same evening.
What should you do after finishing your dailies?
Exchange Keys with friends
The Friends List lets you send 1 Key to each friend per day. You do not spend your own Keys doing this. You can receive Keys from up to 20 friends daily, which means up to 20 free Keys added to your pool. According to Game8, you can send to up to 30 friends per day. Add friends early and this becomes a reliable passive boost to your Paths farming capacity.
Capture Monsterlings in the overworld
Monsterlings captured in the field increase your Nyanners Level, which unlocks higher-rank Monsterlings. The catch: once you capture a specific Monsterling, you need to wait until the next real-world day for that same creature to respawn. Build capturing into your post-dailies routine rather than trying to binge it.
Monsterlings with Link Chains can appear directly in battle when equipped, applying unique attacks and effects that expand your combat options. Prioritize capturing Monsterlings with Link Chains once you have your core daily loop running smoothly.
Gather field materials and visit the Smithy
Certain ores and plant-based materials have a daily collection limit. If you are actively cooking food or crafting equipment, gathering these during your Requests runs is the most time-efficient approach since you are already in the field.
The Smithy in Hananis (Saiga stands at the far left of the map, according to GameWith) sells daily enhancement items including Enhancement Stones for equipment. These are flagged as particularly useful in the early game. The Smithy is low priority compared to Paths and Conquest, but worth checking if you have Gold to spare.
warning
Keys have a hard cap of 100. If you log in and find your Keys are already capped, you have been passively losing regeneration time. Always spend down your Keys before logging out.

Monsterling capture in the field
What is the fastest login bonus to claim?
During active login events, logging in daily rewards Compasses and training materials. These are pull-adjacent resources, so claiming them the moment you log in costs nothing and takes seconds. The login bonus is the lowest-friction daily in the game.
Manon's Guidebook and other event reward tracks also hand out materials and resources as you hit milestones. According to the Game8 beginner's guide, claiming these as you earn them rather than letting them stack unclaimed is the right habit to build.

Daily priority summary
To keep it simple: open the game, spend your Keys in Paths, run your 3 Conquest tickets, complete your 5 Requests, and hit 100 Daily Quest Contribution. That core loop covers every high-value activity. Exchange Keys with friends, capture Monsterlings, gather field materials, and visit the Smithy in whatever time remains. The server resets at 12:00 AM UTC, so plan your session accordingly and never let your Keys sit at the cap.
