A Legendary(?) Band's First Page is a spinoff quest in Neverness to Everness (NTE) that becomes available once you hit Hunter Level 22. The quest takes place in Illusion Town and switches to the internal label Let's Just Wander Around the moment you accept it. Across three story chapters, you'll guide Haniel, Nanally, and Akane from a modest local gig to a headlining slot at the legendary Night of Moondog venue. Finish the full arc to claim a hefty pile of rewards and open up Let's Start a Band!

Phase 1: Go to a local gig with Haniel

Finding Haniel on Fiscus Avenue

Head to Fiscus Avenue in Illusion Town and look for Haniel standing by a billboard at a T junction. Approach her to advance. Next, walk southwest to the corner where Fiscus Avenue intersects Davidia Avenue. The StarSign door is on the west face of the building that fronts Davidia Avenue.

info
Activate the ReroRero Phone Booth outside StarSign the instant you arrive. You'll be fast-traveling here multiple times, and unlocking it now saves a lot of running.

Descend the stairs, push through the left door, and speak to Akane at the bar. Once the dialogue wraps, click the two tables nearby to tidy up the livehouse.

Performing "Heroic Appearance"

Step onto the stage and click the drum kit. Pick "Heroic Appearance" to start the rhythm section. The button prompts sometimes display incorrect inputs. On controller, the real sequence is left and up on the D-Pad, then Triangle and Circle.

danger
Every rhythm segment demands at least a C rating to move forward. This applies to every practice session in the quest, not only this first one.

After the track finishes, talk to everyone standing in front of the stage. Warp back to Eibon, go to your dorm room, and sleep. When you wake, check the messages from Haniel. Return to StarSign, speak with Akane, then hop on stage again and perform "Everlasting Dazing Summer (Short Ver.)" to close this chapter.

Phase 2: Start a band

Recruiting Nanally and promoting the show

A cutscene plays. Read your messages from Nanally and fast-travel to Eibon to meet her. The next day, between 1:00 and 2:00 PM (or skip ahead via the Time System), go back to StarSign to link up with Haniel, Akane, and Nanally. Click the drum kit and choose "Everlasting Dazing Summer" for the full-band run-through.

The following morning, around 9:00 to 10:00 AM, meet Haniel and Nanally at Food First to discuss strategy. From there, travel to Tamamochi Street to distribute tickets. Speak to the two women near the north gate first, then locate the man in the green shirt farther south. A brief scene with Aurelia triggers after that conversation.

info
Wertheimer Tower sits near Tamamochi Street. If you haven't grabbed it yet, unlock the fast-travel point while you're nearby.

Check the group chat, then return to StarSign the next afternoon between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. Perform "Destiny" on the drum kit for the pre-show practice. The debut show itself skips the rhythm mini-game. Walk through the green room door to start the cutscene, then head to Food First to celebrate.

The Bopp boss fight

Later in this chapter, you'll arrive at StarSign and notice that Haniel and Nanally have vanished. Travel to Herland District, specifically Camelot Avenue in New Herland District, and find the Anomaly in the middle of a park.

This kicks off the battle against Bopp.

Bopp takes extra damage from Psyche espers, so Haniel, Aurelia, and Fadia shine here. The boss uses slam moves and one parryable strike, but its low health pool means the encounter ends quickly if you keep up the pressure. Fast combos and precise dodges neutralize its hoverboard speed.

Once you take down Bopp, go back to StarSign. Read the group chat messages to finish this chapter.

Phase 3: The road to Night of Moondog

Cape Square and the final push

Wait until 2:00 to 3:00 PM the next day and travel to Cape Square for an outdoor show. You can warp to the Rabbit Hole fast-travel point to land nearby. Walk up to Akane and the band gear to start the scene.

Return to your dorm at Eibon and rest. Check the group chat, then wait until 8:00 to 10:00 PM the next evening. Meet Nanally outside Eibon, then go to the corner of Kino Avenue and Camelot Avenue in New Herland District to reach Night of Moondog.

Enter the venue, click the spot in front of the sign, then click the train door inside to take the stage. No rhythm mini-game plays here. After the performance, travel to Food First one last time to celebrate with the band.

What are the quest rewards?

Finishing A Legendary(?) Band's First Page nets you the following:

The Annulith x180 and Fons x50,000 stand out as the best pieces of this reward bundle. Annulith converts directly into gacha pulls, making this one of the more rewarding spinoff quests at launch.

info
The Mayoiuta music track is a unique collectible. It won't show up in most item lists, so grab it after the final celebration scene.

How to use the Time System to avoid waiting

This quest forces you to hit specific in-game time slots over and over: 1:00 to 2:00 PM, 9:00 to 10:00 AM, 2:00 to 3:00 PM, and 8:00 to 10:00 PM all appear at different stages. You don't need to sit around in real time. While tracking the quest, you can press the on-screen prompt to jump straight to the required hour. If that shortcut isn't showing up, open the Time System from the menu and set the clock manually.
