A Legendary(?) Band's First Page is a spinoff quest in Neverness to Everness (NTE) that kicks off automatically once you hit Hunter Level 22. The quest is set in Illusion Town and also goes by the internal title Let's Just Wander Around right after you accept it. Across its three major story beats, you'll tag along with Haniel, Nanally, and Akane as your crew goes from a scrappy local gig to performing at the legendary Night of Moondog venue. Finishing the whole thing nets you a solid pile of resources and unlocks the Let's Start a Band! reward.
Phase 1: Go to a local gig with Haniel
Finding Haniel on Fiscus Avenue
Head to Fiscus Avenue in Illusion Town and look for Haniel standing near a billboard at a T intersection. Approach her to move the quest forward. From there, go southwest to the corner of Fiscus Avenue and Davidia Avenue. The entrance to StarSign is on the west side of the building facing Davidia Avenue.
Activate the ReroRero Phone Booth near StarSign as soon as you arrive. You'll fast-travel back here multiple times throughout the quest, and having it unlocked saves a lot of running.
Descend the stairs, go through the door on your left, and speak to Akane at the bar. After that, interact with the two tables nearby to help clean up the livehouse.
Performing "Heroic Appearance"
Climb onto the stage and interact with the drum kit. Select the song "Heroic Appearance" to start the rhythm mini-game. According to PowerPyx's walkthrough documentation, the on-screen control prompts may display incorrect inputs at this stage. On controller, use the left and up directions on the D-Pad, then Triangle and Circle to hit the notes correctly.
After the performance, speak with everyone at the front of the stage, then teleport back to Eibon, go to your dorm room, and rest. When you wake up, check the messages from Haniel. Return to StarSign and talk to Akane, then get back on stage and play "Everlasting Dazing Summer (Short Ver.)" to wrap up this phase.
Phase 2: Start a band
Recruiting Nanally and promoting the show
After a cutscene, check the messages from Nanally and head to Eibon to find her. The next day, between 1:00 and 2:00 PM (or adjust the Time System manually), return to StarSign to meet up with Haniel, Akane, and Nanally. Interact with the drum kit and select "Everlasting Dazing Summer" for the full-band practice.
The morning after, around 9:00 to 10:00 AM, meet Haniel and Nanally at Food First for a strategy session. From there, head to Tamamochi Street to promote tickets. Approach the two women near the north entrance first, then find the man in the green shirt further down the southern path. A brief cutscene with Aurelia plays after that conversation.
The nearby Wertheimer Tower is worth unlocking on your way to Tamamochi Street if you haven't already. It gives you another fast-travel point in the area.
Check the group chat, then return to StarSign the following afternoon between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. Play "Destiny" on the drum kit as the pre-show rehearsal. There is no rhythm mini-game for the actual debut performance itself. Simply exit through the green room door to trigger it, then head to Food First to celebrate.

The Bopp boss fight
Later in this phase, you'll arrive at StarSign to find that Haniel and Nanally are missing. Head to Herland District (specifically Camelot Avenue in New Herland District per PowerPyx's documentation) and locate the Anomaly in the middle of a park.
This triggers the fight against Bopp.
According to Game8's walkthrough, Bopp is weak to Psyche espers, making Haniel, Aurelia, and Fadia strong picks for this fight. It uses slam attacks and has one parry attack, but its low HP pool means the fight ends quickly if you keep the pressure on. Rapid attacks and dodging at the right moments counter its hoverboard mobility effectively.
After defeating Bopp, return to StarSign. Check the group chat messages to complete this phase.
Phase 3: The road to Night of Moondog
Cape Square and the final push
Wait until 2:00 to 3:00 PM the next day and travel to Cape Square for an outdoor live performance. You can teleport to the Rabbit Hole fast-travel point to get close. Approach Akane and the band gear to trigger the scene.
Return to your dorm at Eibon and rest. Check the group chat, then wait until 8:00 to 10:00 PM the following evening. Meet Nanally outside Eibon, then travel to the corner of Kino Avenue and Camelot Avenue in New Herland District to reach Night of Moondog.
Enter the venue, interact with the spot in front of the sign, then interact with the train door inside to take the stage. There is no rhythm mini-game here. After the performance, travel to Food First one final time to celebrate with the band.
What are the quest rewards?
Completing A Legendary(?) Band's First Page earns you the following, as documented by both Game8 and PowerPyx:
The Annulith x180 and Fons x50,000 are the standout pulls here. Annulith feeds directly into gacha pulls, making this one of the more rewarding spinoff quests in the game at launch.
The Mayoiuta music track reward is a unique collectible item. It won't show up in most item guides, so don't overlook it when claiming your rewards after the final celebration scene.
How to use the Time System to avoid waiting
This quest requires you to hit specific in-game time windows repeatedly: 1:00 to 2:00 PM, 9:00 to 10:00 AM, 2:00 to 3:00 PM, and 8:00 to 10:00 PM are all required at various points. Waiting in real time for these windows is completely unnecessary. While tracking the quest, you can press the prompt shown on-screen to automatically jump to the required time. If that shortcut isn't available, open the Time System from the menu and set the clock manually.
