How Jiuyuan's Kit Works
Jiuyuan is an Anima character built around a mechanic called Lethal Rose Pact. Her basic attack combo, When Secrets Take Shape, generates Rose Pact Bullets on her fifth hit and after a successful Critical Riposte, both of which apply Lethal Rose Pact to enemies. Holding the basic attack fires off stored bullets and triggers the Lethal Rose Pact settlement on affected targets, with her current bullet count displayed above her HP bar.
Her Skill, Intel Hunter, grants four Rose Pact Bullets and applies Lethal Rose Pact on its own. Her Ultimate, Final Reckoning, hits multiple times and triggers a much bigger Lethal Rose Pact settlement on the final hit if used correctly. Her Support Skill, Intel Lock-On, deals damage and hands her two more bullets.

The standard rotation runs Support Skill into Skill for six total bullets, then Ultimate to trigger the big settlement, followed by holding the basic attack until all six bullets are used before switching out. At max Awakening, five more basic attacks reapply Lethal Rose Pact before the switch.
When leveling her abilities, prioritize Ultimate first, followed by Basic Attack, Support Skill, and Skill last.

Jiuyuan can only equip Solid-type Arcs. Her signature option, Reality Refuge, is the clear top pick. It boosts Anima damage by 15% and adds up to 30% Attachment damage as long as Lethal Rose Pact gets triggered through her Ultimate.

Main stat priority: Anima DMG Bonus first, then Crit Rate, Crit Damage, ATK Percent, and DMG Percent for sub-stats.
Speedy Hedgehog works as an alternative for a more support-focused Jiuyuan, boosting Charge Efficiency by 12% and giving the whole team 15% more Attack for 20 seconds after her Ultimate.
Best Team Compositions for Jiuyuan
Since NTE launched with a fairly small roster, team options are still somewhat limited, but Jiuyuan has one of the stronger comps available.
Her main team pairs her with Nanally, Hathor, and Esper Zero, with Nanally taking the main DPS role. This setup pulls together Blossom, Remora, and Charge Esper Cycles at once. While the rotation takes some practice to time correctly, the Blossom buffs from both Nanally and Jiuyuan make it one of the stronger comps in the game right now.
