How do you unlock the Serenetti boss fight?
You'll need to finish the Where Worlds Sprout, Fall Unfolds Spinoff first. Pull it up through your Appraiser's Quests screen. There's no way around this—complete the Spinoff, then the boss becomes available at Serenetti Manor.
Where is Serenetti located?
The fight happens inside the greenhouse at Serenetti Manor in the Unheard Shores district of Hethereau. The projection room entrance is tucked away in a hallway to the left of the ticket booth. If you walk past the main entrance and don't see it, backtrack and check that left corridor.
What are Serenetti's weaknesses and resistances?
Serenetti is weak to Incantation damage and has no resistances. That single weakness dictates your team build entirely, so stack Incantation dealers and you'll cut through the fight faster.

Baicang and Daffodill both deal Incantation damage and hit hard individually. Sakiri buffs them both, which is useful, but the real power comes from Esper Cycle synergy. Pairing Incantation with Chaos activates the Scorch Esper Cycle for damage over time. Throw in a Psyche unit like Fadia and you trigger the Discord Esper Cycle, which shreds Serenetti's Break gauge. The Break pressure shortens the fight significantly.

This setup uses a different Esper Cycle. Combining Incantation with Anima triggers the Hexed Esper Cycle, which deals 20% Anima or 20% Incantation damage depending on which damage type Serenetti took last. Nanally handles the bulk of the damage with Jiuyuan covering Anima, while Sakiri and Adler provide support. Run this if you've already invested in Nanally and want to skip the Discord route.
How to beat Serenetti
Phase 1: Rely on critical dodges, not parries
Serenetti doesn't give you many parryable attacks. Instead, it chains long combos where each hit is dodgeable. If you try to parry through these sequences, you'll eat damage.
The better approach is to watch its movements and time your dodges to land Critical Dodges, which open up Critical Ripostes. These riposte windows are your main damage opportunities in phase one, so nail the dodge timing early.
Phase 2: What happens at 50% HP?
At 50% HP, Serenetti shifts gears. You'll see a burst of speech bubbles around it, and the fight gets messier. During this phase:
- Attack patterns become harder to predict
- It starts throwing out fusillades and AoE attacks
- It heals itself, though the amount is small
Play defensively here. Let Serenetti burn through its aggression spike instead of trading hits during the chaos. Once it calms down, go back to your damage rotation.
