Serenetti is one of the more demanding Anomaly Hunt bosses in Neverness to Everness, and the fight plays out very differently from the parry-heavy encounters elsewhere in the game. The greenhouse arena, the mid-fight aggression spike, and the self-healing mechanic all catch players off guard the first time. Here is everything you need to know to clear it cleanly.

How do you unlock the Serenetti boss fight?
Before you can step into the greenhouse, you need to complete the Where Worlds Sprout, Fall Unfolds Spinoff. Access it through the Quests screen on your Appraiser. There is no shortcut here, the Spinoff has to be finished first, and only then does the encounter become available at Serenetti Manor.
Where is Serenetti located?
Once unlocked, the fight takes place inside the greenhouse at Serenetti Manor, which sits in the Unheard Shores district of Hethereau. The projection room entrance is easy to miss, it is through an obscure hallway to the left of the ticket booth. If you are walking past the main entrance and not finding it, double back and check that left-side corridor.
Pull up the Hethereau interactive map before heading over. The manor is in Unheard Shores, and the hallway to the projection room is not immediately obvious from the main entrance.
What are Serenetti's weaknesses and resistances?
Serenetti has a weakness to Incantation damage and no listed resistances. That single weakness shapes both recommended team compositions entirely, so building around Incantation dealers is the correct approach regardless of which roster you are running.
What are the best teams for Serenetti?
Two team compositions stand out, and both lean hard into the Incantation weakness.
Discord team (Baicang + Daffodill)
Baicang and Daffodill are both Incantation dealers capable of putting out serious damage on their own, and Sakiri's buffs push both of them further. The real payoff comes from the Esper Cycle interactions: pairing Incantation with Chaos triggers the Scorch Esper Cycle, which deals damage over time. Add a Psyche unit like Fadia and you activate the Discord Esper Cycle, which strips large amounts of Break from Serenetti. That Break pressure makes the fight considerably shorter.

Discord Esper Cycle team setup
Nanally hypercarry team
This composition takes a different angle. Combining Incantation with Anima produces the Hexed Esper Cycle, which deals either 20% Anima or 20% Incantation damage depending on the type of damage Serenetti received last. Nanally carries the damage load here with Jiuyuan providing Anima coverage, while Sakiri and Adler handle support duties. This team is worth running if you have Nanally built up and want to skip the Discord setup entirely.
The Hexed Esper Cycle deals 20% Anima or Incantation DMG based on what type of damage Serenetti last received. Timing your damage types to control which proc you get can squeeze out extra efficiency.
How to beat Serenetti
Phase 1: Rely on critical dodges, not parries
Serenetti does not rely on parryable attacks the way many other bosses in Neverness to Everness do. Instead, it strings together long attack sequences where the individual hits are dodgeable. Trying to parry through these strings will get you punished.
The correct approach is to watch Serenetti's movements carefully and time your dodges precisely to land Critical Dodges, which open up Critical Ripostes. These riposte windows are your primary damage opportunities in the first phase, so developing a feel for the dodge timing early matters.
Phase 2: What happens at 50% HP?
Once Serenetti drops to 50% HP, the fight changes noticeably. A burst of speech bubbles appears around it, signaling the aggression spike. During this phase:
- Attack patterns become erratic and harder to read
- Serenetti begins using fusillades and AoE attacks
- It heals itself, though the heal amount is described as small
The recommended approach at this point is to play defensively. Let Serenetti burn through its aggression burst rather than trading hits during the chaos. Once it settles, re-engage with your damage rotation.
Do not try to out-damage the phase 2 aggression spike. The AoE patterns are unpredictable enough that taking unnecessary hits will cost you more than the time saved by staying aggressive.
What rewards do you get from Serenetti?
Clearing the boss nets the following rewards:
The Confessional Flower Seeds are the main reason to farm this encounter, so factor that into how often you plan to revisit the fight.
Since Serenetti has no resistances to work around, you have flexibility to experiment with off-meta team compositions once you are comfortable with the dodge timing. The Incantation weakness just makes the fight faster, not the only viable path.
Serenetti rewards patience more than raw damage output. Get the Critical Dodge timing down in phase 1, respect the phase 2 aggression window, and the fight becomes manageable regardless of which Incantation team you bring.
