Neverness to Everness Review: An Urban ...

The Sales Pitch...? side quest in Neverness to Everness (NTE) is one of those missions that starts with a suspicious car deal and ends with you behind the wheel of a slow but manageable racer. The quest has a dual name: it appears on the map as Sales Pitch...? but flips to Goodbye, Yellow Flag Stage! once you accept it. Here's everything you need to finish it without wasting time.

What are the requirements and rewards for Sales Pitch...?

Before heading to the starting location, confirm you've completed Prologue 2: "Good Business, Better Treasure". Without that, Gethrie won't trigger the quest.

The Beetle Coin payout alone makes this worth prioritizing early. 30,000 is a solid haul for a side quest of this length.

How to start the quest

Head to Bridge Crossing and look for Gethrie standing outside Rampage Players. Interact with her to kick off the conversation. The dialogue gives you multiple response options, but according to the PowerPyx walkthrough, your choice here doesn't affect whether you accept the quest. Pick whatever feels right and move on.

Once the initial conversation wraps, interact with Gethrie a second time to complete the "Listen to what Gethrie has to say" objective.

How do you skip the time wait in Sales Pitch...?

After the second conversation, the quest asks you to wait until 8:00 PM the next day for Gethrie to contact you. Sitting around in real time isn't necessary. While the quest is tracked, press L3 to automatically advance the time of day. The game jumps you forward without any manual waiting.

Once the time skip lands, press L3 again to go directly to Gethrie's message. Read through the text options until the message window displays "END" at the bottom. That confirms the Spectate Arrangements objective is done.

Race walkthrough: what to expect at the race track

From the parking lot near Rampage Players, head west to the intersection and interact with Gethrie at the Race Track Starting Point. From here, select the race and then choose the Novus C2000 when prompted.

The race itself is straightforward. Both your car and your opponent's car run slow, so raw speed isn't a deciding factor. The Novus C2000 handles well enough that you don't need to touch the brake at any point. When a turn approaches, simply release the gas and steer through it. The car responds cleanly without requiring any aggressive braking technique.

After testing the race across the available tips from community walkthroughs, the consensus is consistent: this is a beginner-friendly race designed to introduce the game's driving mechanics rather than challenge them. Don't overthink it.

How to finish the quest: talking to Gethrie after the race

Once the race ends, walk back down the block to Rampage Players and approach Gethrie. Interacting with her completes the Racer's Soul objective and wraps up the entire quest. Your rewards, including the 30,000 Beetle Coins, 15,000 Fons, and 400 Hunter Level EXP, land immediately.

The whole quest takes under 15 minutes if you use the L3 time skip and don't get lost navigating to the race track.
