Two red barriers in Chocolate Volcano block access to treasure chests in Neverness to Everness. Each barrier is connected to three nearby braziers, and players must find and light all three before the barrier disappears.
Both puzzles are located around the same Bonfire, making them quick to complete back-to-back once the area is unlocked.
First Chocolate Volcano Barrier
The first barrier is reached from the Bonfire near the upper wooden platforms.
From the Bonfire, cross the bridge heading west. Continue through the rocky opening to reach the area containing the first group of braziers.
Enemies are nearby, so clearing them first makes it easier to move around and interact with the braziers without interruptions.

Where to Find the Three Braziers
The three braziers are spread around this section of Chocolate Volcano:
- Southwest: Follow the edge of the area toward the southwestern side to find the first brazier.
- East: The second is a short distance east of the first, close to some wooden debris.
- Upper-left: Climb the slope on the far-left side. The last brazier is positioned near several crates.
Second Chocolate Volcano Barrier
After clearing the first puzzle, return to the same Bonfire.
This time, take the southwestern slope instead of crossing the western bridge. The second group of braziers is positioned around this section of the area.
Where to Find the Remaining Braziers
The three locations can be checked in a simple loop:
- North: Look beside the wooden planks for the first brazier.
- West: Move west from there and check beside the old cartwheel.
- South: Continue toward the southern side of the area to find the final brazier.

Both puzzles follow the same rule: light three braziers to remove one barrier. There are six braziers in total across both puzzles.
What Are the Rewards?
Each barrier opens access to a chest containing additional loot, including accessories that can be useful when building characters.
Since both puzzles start from the same Bonfire, it is worth clearing them during the same visit rather than leaving one for a later trip.
