Respawn is hinting at a Godzilla collaboration for Apex Legends with a 17-second teaser posted on November 2, 2026. A glowing logo and a familiar-sounding roar do most of the talking.
The tease follows the recent Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 event. This time, the official Apex Legends X account kept its message short: “Something big is coming…”
Blue logos form a familiar silhouette
The clip opens with a glowing blue Apex logo. As more logos appear, their arrangement starts to resemble Godzilla’s dorsal plates, turning a familiar piece of Apex branding into the teaser’s main clue.
A Godzilla-like roar near the end adds an audio cue to match that silhouette.
Earlier crossovers changed more than cosmetics
Apex Legends already has several major franchise collaborations behind it, including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Two other crossovers offer concrete examples of Respawn changing the places and tools players fight with:
- Gundam: Statues and destroyed Mobile Suits appeared across Broken Moon.
- Cyberpunk 2077: New Cyberware abilities accompanied an E-District transformation inspired by Night City.
Those events give the Godzilla hint some useful context: Respawn has previously taken licensed collaborations beyond character outfits. The blue-logo teaser itself keeps the focus on the possible franchise connection rather than showing a playable feature.
