If you've been grinding through Housemarque's latest PS5 exclusive, here's a small reward for your trouble. Sony has released a free avatar pack for Saros, available right now on PSN with no PS Plus subscription required.
What's actually in the pack
The avatar pack includes 6 total avatars: Arjun Devraj, the game's protagonist voiced by Rahul Kohli, plus five of the bosses you'll encounter across your runs. They're purely cosmetic, meant to flex on your PSN profile, but they're free and they look sharp.
Saros launched exclusively on PS5 last week, developed by Housemarque as a spiritual successor to 2021's Returnal. It blends bullet hell, roguelite progression, and third-person shooting into one of the more talked-about releases of 2026 so far.
How the redemption process works
To grab the avatars, head to the official PlayStation website in a browser and make sure you're signed into your PSN account. On the Saros game page, look for a button labeled Call the Eclipse on the right side of the screen. Clicking it takes you to a new page where you can scroll down to find a redeemable code.
Copy that code, then navigate to the Redeem Code section of the PlayStation website (accessible by clicking your avatar in the navigation bar). Paste the code in and the avatar pack is yours.
Regional codes are locked to their corresponding accounts. An Americas code will not work on a European or Asian PSN account, so make sure you're redeeming the right one.
Regional codes for every territory
If you can't access the PlayStation Store page directly, here are the codes broken down by region:
The bigger picture for Saros
The avatar drop is a small but smart move from Sony, giving players an easy reason to engage with Saros on PSN even before they've bought the game. Free cosmetics tied to a new first-party release are a low-friction way to build profile visibility across the platform, and with Saros generating real buzz as a 2026 highlight, the timing makes sense.
Housemarque built Saros on Unreal Engine 5, with support from Nixxes on art and gameplay elements and Creative Arts handling sound design.
