The multiplayer addition follows E-Day’s October launch. Developed by The Coalition and published by Xbox Game Studios, the third-person cover shooter is a prequel following Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago on Emergence Day, when the Locust Horde erupts beneath humanity. November 7 brings the next anniversary milestone
The Coalition has teased a special gift for all players on November 7, the franchise’s anniversary date. The studio has not detailed what that gift will be.
The post-launch roadmap also places the named 20 Years of Gears event in December alongside Season 2.
Players returning for the anniversary can browse the E-Day guide collection for help elsewhere in the game while November 7 approaches.
