Halloween in Roblox has never looked this stacked. The Hollow, the platform's biggest Halloween event to date, launched today, October 22, 2026, at 2pm PDT, pulling together nine of the most recognizable horror experiences on the platform into a single spine-chilling maze. Nine days, nine monsters, one event you'll want to log into every single day before it closes on November 2.
What The Hollow actually is
The Hollow isn't a game update or a limited-time mode inside an existing experience. It's a standalone maze event that lives within Roblox as its own dedicated experience. Players enter the maze, avoid deadly enemies, hunt for clues, and collect rewards. The twist that makes this worth coming back for daily: each day introduces a brand new horror character into the maze, pulled straight from one of the platform's beloved horror titles.
The lineup reads like a who's who of Roblox horror. The Deer from 99 Nights in the Forest kicks things off on Day 1, followed by Seek from DOORS on Day 2, Twisted Dandy from Dandy's World on Day 3, and Piggy from Piggy on Day 4. Days 5 through 9 bring The Inspector from Scary Shawarma Kiosk, Mimic from Animal Hospital, Biter from Demonology, Hiachi from The Mimic, and finally The Overseer from Warden.
That's a genuinely impressive roster. The fact that Roblox managed to pull characters from nine separate developer teams into one cohesive event says a lot about how seriously the platform is treating its horror genre right now.
The daily format and why it matters
Here's the thing: The Hollow is built around daily participation. Missing a day means missing a specific enemy encounter, and rewards are tied to that rotating structure. The event runs through November 2, which gives players a window after Halloween to catch up, but the finale live event on October 31 is a one-time thing.
Roblox Plus members also get those two hours of early access across the board, which is a meaningful perk for a daily-rotation event where being first in can matter for reward tracking.
The October 31 finale celebrates Halloween proper but doesn't end the event. Post-finale, the maze stays open with no new content additions, just the full nine-enemy experience available until Monday, November 2.
Horror is having a moment on Roblox
The timing of The Hollow isn't accidental. Horror has been one of the fastest-growing genres on the platform over the past year. Newer titles like 99 Nights in the Forest and Animal Hospital have been chipping away at the dominance of long-established names like Piggy, which launched back in 2020 and still pulls enormous player counts. Bringing characters from both generations of Roblox horror into the same event is a smart way to cross-pollinate audiences.
For players who haven't tried all nine source games, The Hollow works as a sampler. Running from Seek in the maze is a very different experience from dodging The Deer, and that variety is what should keep the event fresh across its nine-day run. The key here is that each character presumably brings mechanics inspired by their home game, not just a reskinned obstacle.

Halloween is genuinely packed on the platform this year.
What to expect as the event fills out
The full reward list for The Hollow hasn't been detailed yet given the event only just went live, but spooky avatar customization items are confirmed to be part of the offering. Given how past Roblox events have handled rewards, expect a mix of items tied to specific daily completions and others available through general participation.
For the complete breakdown of every confirmed and rumored game joining the event, the Roblox The Hollow 2026 guide has the full picture as details continue to roll in. The event is live right now, and Day 1 with The Deer is already underway.
