Overview
Omensight: Definitive Edition connects an apocalyptic fantasy story to a murder investigation. Developed and published by Spearhead Games, it follows the Harbinger, a mythical warrior who appears when disaster strikes. Urralia is already consumed by war, and a dark god destroys it at nightfall. The death of the Godless-Priestess sits at the center of the mystery, giving the Harbinger a specific crime to investigate before the world can be saved.
The game is a spiritual successor to Stories: The Path of Destinies, with action and story decisions sharing the same adventure. Its defining structure is the repeated final day: progress depends on what the Harbinger learns and changes within that limited stretch of time.
How does the time-loop investigation work?
The Harbinger relives Urralia's final day, accompanies characters connected to its destruction, and uses discoveries to influence events. Choosing how to spend each day determines which perspective the investigation follows.

- Relive Urralia's final day
- Investigate the priestess's murder
- Fight alongside key characters
- Change events with Omensight
The Omensight power turns knowledge into a way to intervene. Information about a character informs the decision to help or hinder them, altering the course of the day. Returning to familiar events serves a specific purpose: the Harbinger approaches them with a different understanding of the people involved. Each companion offers another angle on the same catastrophe, making the choice of company part of the detective work.

Sword combat within the investigation
The Harbinger fights with a sword, magical abilities, and time-manipulation powers. Combat forms part of the investigation's route through Urralia, with the warrior accompanying characters who also have roles in the coming catastrophe. A companion is both an ally in battle and a perspective on the case, keeping the action connected to the story's central cast.
That combination gives Omensight two distinct demands: handling battles and understanding the chain of events behind the murder. Swordplay addresses immediate opposition, while changing Urralia's fate requires information gathered across repeated days. The Harbinger's strength matters, but so does knowing whose actions need to change.

Urralia's war and its characters
Urralia's war gives the investigation a conflict larger than the murder itself. The characters the Harbinger accompanies participate in that conflict, each connected to the events surrounding the world's destruction. Revisiting the day through different perspectives provides context for their actions and their relationships with one another. Their place in the mystery makes learning about them a practical part of the investigation.

Omensight's voice cast includes Patricia Summersett and Julian Casey, while its writing team includes Nadim Boukhira, Genese Davis, and Chris Avellone. The story's central attraction remains the relationship between its characters and the time-loop investigation. Preventing the apocalypse means learning how a murder, individual decisions, and a war fit together, then using that knowledge to change the day.
