My full guide to Pragmata after ...

Read Earth Memories are some of the best collectibles Capcom has put into Pragmata. They are not just lore scraps or arbitrary percentage fillers. Each one is a small glimpse of life back on Earth that you bring home to Diana, and the game rewards you with Cabin Coins for doing so. There are 6 confirmed REMs across Sectors 01 and 02, and this guide covers every single one with step-by-step directions.

What are Read Earth Memories in Pragmata?

Read Earth Memories, shortened to REM, are glowing blue collectible holograms scattered through Pragmata's sectors. According to Deltia's Gaming, they resemble small depictions of Earth and carry lore snippets about life before the events of the game. Beyond the worldbuilding angle, they are also gifts you can hand to Diana back at the Shelter using the REM Replicator, which keeps her entertained and prints a physical version of each item for display.

Each REM you gift to Diana earns you Cabin Coins, the currency used for the Cabin Stamp Club side activity. So even if the lore does not pull you in, the progression rewards make collecting them worthwhile.

How many REMs are in Pragmata?

Based on current guides from Eurogamer and Deltia's Gaming, 6 REMs have been confirmed across Sectors 01 and 02. The Eurogamer guide notes it is still in progress, so additional REMs may exist in later sectors. The table below covers every confirmed location.

All REM locations in Pragmata

Sector 01: Globe (Main Control Lobby)

The Globe is the only REM you cannot miss. As you enter Block 03 in Sector 01's Main Control Lobby, a scripted sequence triggers where Diana discovers a half-finished globe. There is nothing extra to do here. Just pick it up and bring it back to the Shelter to gift it to Diana and earn your first Cabin Coin.

This is also the game's way of teaching you how the REM system works, so pay attention to what the Shelter interaction looks like for future reference.

Sector 01: Crayons (The Concourse)

The Crayons REM is the first one that requires active exploration. Near the end of the Concourse, you will reach a main corridor leading toward a large room that is clearly a boss arena. Before going right into that area, look left for a ladder and climb it.

At the top, move right along the ledge carefully and look for a wall that has a faint holographic shimmer. Interact with it when prompted and the Holo-Wall disappears, revealing the Crayons REM on the ground just behind it.

Sector 02: Basketball (Shopping District)

After hacking the first node in Block 02 of the Shopping District, follow the linear path that opens up. The Basketball REM sits behind a stack of boxes along this route. According to both Eurogamer and Deltia's Gaming, you will spot the hologram before you reach it since it appears briefly as you pass through the area. Keep going straight and you will find it without any detour.

Sector 02: Slide (Side Alley)

The Slide REM takes a bit more effort. After hacking Node 3 in Block 03, you can spot the REM behind a fence on the path ahead. To actually reach it, drop down into the area below and head left into the side alley next to a building. A zipline at the end of the alley takes you upward, and the REM is waiting at the top.

Sector 02: Skateboard (Business District)

The Skateboard REM is the most involved pickup so far. Exit the Safe Room at the start of Block 04 and use Diana's Lim Eraser ability to clear a blocked path to the right. Follow this path to an elevator with red hackable panels. Hack the panels to ride the elevator down into a traversal puzzle area.

According to Deltia's Gaming, the puzzle requires you to hack a panel on the center tower to pull platforms out of the wall repeatedly. Work your way to the very top of this structure and the Skateboard REM is your reward at the end.

Sector 02: CRT TV (Lim Recycling Facility)

The CRT TV REM sits on the main path in Block 05, shortly after the conveyor belt room with multiple enemies (the same area where you find the Decoy Gun, as noted by Eurogamer). Just keep following the story route through the Lim Recycling Facility and you will come across it naturally. According to Deltia's Gaming, taking two successive rights after the unlocked door in the Lim Recycler room puts you right on top of it.

What do you do with REMs after collecting them?

Every REM you pick up goes into your inventory and stays there until you return to the Shelter. Once back, interact with Diana and select the gifting option. She reacts to each one, which adds to the character work Capcom has built around her. The REM Replicator then prints a physical version that goes on display in the Shelter.

The functional reward is Cabin Coins, which feed into the Cabin Stamp Club. If you are chasing trophies or achievements, collecting all REMs is part of the completion requirements, as confirmed across all three source guides.

Are any REMs missable?

Based on available information from the Sports Rant guide, Pragmata supports post-story cleanup through later progression modes, which means most or all REMs can be retrieved after finishing the campaign. This is a relief compared to games that permanently lock you out of collectibles after story beats. That said, grabbing them during your first pass through each sector is still more efficient than backtracking later.
