Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy packs 30 Charms across 13 chapters, and missing them is easier than you'd think. These aren't just collectibles for the sake of it: each Charm type delivers a passive buff to Sophia that stacks as you find more of the same set. None are missable thanks to Chapter Select, but hunting them on your first run saves serious backtracking. This guide covers every single one, in order, with clear directions so you spend your time playing, not wandering.
What do Charms actually do?
Before hunting them down, it helps to know why each type matters. Charms come in six varieties, and each set has its own passive effect that scales with how many you collect.
There are 5 of each type, 30 total. Collecting all 30 unlocks the Superstitious trophy. The five Pierced Coin bowls (which look different from standard chests) also unlock the In The Name Of My Kin trophy separately.

Chapter 1: Blood Ties
No Charms here. Move on.
Chapter 2: Felons (2 Charms)
Charm 1 (Beads 1): After Leni lockpicks a door and you squeeze through a gap into the backyard with pigs and chickens, turn left immediately. The chest sits under a canopy in the building on your left.
Charm 2 (Bracelet 1): During the grapnel tutorial where you pull an archer off a rooftop, shimmy across to where the archer was standing. Turn left and the chest is right there.

Chapter 3: Those Before Us (4 Charms)
Charm 3 (Beads 2): When you slide down into the ruined house section, drop to the bottom floor. Head left toward the back and look for a dark room in the rear right corner. The chest is inside.
Charm 4 (Arm Band 1): At the large statue area, head into the ruined building on the right. You'll see a fresco of warriors. Face it, go left, and drop through the hole in the floor. The chest is in the room below.
Charm 5 (Bracelet 2): From the statue area, climb to the top of the mountain on the opposite side. When Leni asks for help with a broken door, check the side room to the left of that door. The chest is in there.
Charm 6 (Seal 1): After Leni lifts a log for you to crawl through a tunnel, you'll slide down to reunite with her and use the grapnel to pull down a barricade. Take the next left immediately after. The chest is right there.

Chapter 4: From Hell It Rose (2 Charms)
Charm 7 (Arm Band 2): After the three-pedestal symbol puzzle (the solution is Y-C-up arrow), you reach an open area with a large statue. Go right and climb the first rock before dropping down the ledge. A hidden camp is up there with the chest near a tent.
Charm 8 (Trinket 1): In the room where Leni operates a lever on the opposite side, an enemy ambush triggers. Clear the enemies, squeeze through the gap into the next room, and drop down. The chest sits at the base of the statue on your right.
Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought (5 Charms)
This is the densest chapter for Charms, with five to find across two sub-chapters.
Charm 9 (Trinket 2): After the first enemy group, go left and pull down the wooden barricade with your grapnel. Go through the ruins on the lower floor (not upstairs), and follow the path to an abandoned camp. Climb the rocks on the left to reach the upper tent where the chest sits.
Charm 10 (Seal 2): From Charm 9, continue into the ruins. Find the archer on top of the pillars roughly in the middle of the area. Defeat them, then go around the left corner below where they were standing. The chest is in the ruins there.
Charm 11 (Bracelet 3): At the four-pedestal room where you split from Leni to find symbols, look above the gates for icons. Take the path marked with the Dice icon. Follow it until you're separated from Leni, then jump down the platforms (one has a spike trap, jump it). At the bottom, head left and climb the ruin to find the chest at the end of the path.
Charm 12 (Arm Band 3): Continuing from Charm 11 on the same Dice path, solve the spike platform puzzle and grab the symbol. You'll emerge onto a beach with enemies. Go to the right corner of the beach, near the water and a boat. The chest is there.
Charm 13 (Pierced Coin 1): Back at the four-pedestal room, take the path with the circle with three lines icon above the gate. Cross the bridge, take the leftmost path, and climb the ladder to the top. Defeat the enemies and interact with the Axe statue to collect this Pierced Coin.

Chapter 6: What Lies Beneath (3 Charms)
Charm 14 (Seal 3): After escaping the creature through the gear mechanism area, you enter a lantern-lined corridor. At the end, smash the crates on the right side. One hides a mirror (Lens) to burn the corruption blocking the path. The chest containing the Seal is in the crate to the right of where you use that Lens.
Charm 15 (Beads 3): After the cutscene near the petrified figure by the cliff, go right onto the dark path. The chest is there.
Charm 16 (Pierced Coin 2): From Charm 15, drop down the cliff. Do not go through the door on the right. Instead, head straight and go through the door at the far end. Interact with the axe-shaped offering bowl inside.
Chapter 7: Death It Sowed (5 Charms)
Charm 17 (Beads 4): Right after the cutscene where Sergio dies, head to the beach. The chest is by the shoreline near the row boats, to the right of the central boat.
Charm 18 (Arm Band 4): On the path to the Black Temple, use the grapnel twice in a row to swing across a large gap. After landing, go right and down the stairs to a beach with two soldiers and a boat. Clear the soldiers and find the chest in the left corner.
Charm 19 (Pierced Coin 3): After going down a hole, slide under a gate and swing across two grapnel points. Jump right to a platform to the right of a large locked green gate. The Pierced Coin bowl is there.
Charm 20 (Bracelet 4): From Charm 19, backtrack to the previous room and jump across the platforms. After the platforms, look for a broken staircase on the left with a large tree growing on it. Squeeze through the gap and the chest is behind the tree.
Charm 21 (Trinket 3): Near the end of Chapter 7, after a zipline drops you into the arena area, follow the path around until you spot a gap on your left leading under the central platform. Follow it into the dark to find the chest.

Chapter 8: Resonance
No collectibles in this chapter at all.
Chapter 9: Light Will Save Us (2 Charms)
Charm 22 (Seal 4): After escaping the creature into a cave, follow the path until Sophia stops and mourns. Three paths branch here. Take the left path and squeeze through the gap. The chest is next to a body.
Charm 23 (Pierced Coin 4): Inside Minos' palace, climb the stairs past the petrified figures and head left at the top. Crawl through the gap in the wall to find the Pierced Coin bowl in the room beyond.
Chapter 10: Parallel Paths (3 Charms)
Charm 24 (Beads 5): In the jungle area with Faro, hug the right wall. Follow a rope on the ground leading inland away from the rocks. Look ahead and you'll spot the Charm glowing white in the distance, near a small river.
Charm 25 (Trinket 4): From Charm 24, follow the cable on the ground to a cave with a ladder. Climb up, use the zipline, and enter the camp. The chest is in the second tent on the right.
Charm 26 (Pierced Coin 5): In Daedalus' Workshop, go to the far side of the room and spot the hanging mirror (lens) suspended from chains. Jump onto it and face the wall to find a grapnel point. Pull it to drop a counterweight, which opens a hidden tomb back upstairs. Head into the tomb and interact with the anvil-shaped bowl on the right. This is the fifth and final Pierced Coin, which triggers the In The Name Of My Kin trophy.
Chapter 11: Patera (2 Charms)
Charm 27 (Arm Band 5): After your first puppet encounter and crossing the massive lens directing the light beam, look right for a smaller room with a hanging lens and two soldiers. Clear them and the chest is on the right side of the room, near the mirror.
Charm 28 (Bracelet 5): After an enemy encounter, boost Faro up a ledge and cross to the other side of the room. The chest is in the back right corner, next to the elevator lever.
Chapter 12: Fading Light (1 Charm)
Charm 29 (Seal 5): After using the light beam to lower a bridge and defeating the puppet enemies on the other side, follow the path forward and down a slope. The chest is in the right corner at the bottom.
Chapter 13: As One (1 Charm)
Charm 30 (Trinket 5): Near the end of the chapter, make your way up to the section with two lenses forming a corner for the light beam. The final chest sits right next to the light at the very top. Grabbing this one pops the Superstitious trophy.
What trophies do all Charms unlock?
Collecting every Charm ties into two separate trophies:
- Superstitious: Collect all 30 Charms
- In The Name Of My Kin: Collect all 5 Pierced Coin bowls (Charms 13, 16, 19, 23, and 26)
The Pierced Coin trophy triggers when you grab Charm 26 in Daedalus' Workshop during Chapter 10, assuming you haven't missed any of the earlier four. Superstitious pops with Charm 30 at the end of Chapter 13.
