What is the rarest fish in Anime Expeditions?
Coopfin holds the only Legendary rarity slot in the entire index. It spawns in both the Lobby and Tidal Siege maps, which gives you two pools to try your luck. The Legendary tag makes it the hardest catch in the game and the single highest XP reward per catch available right now.
The three Epic fish sitting one tier below Coopfin are Shellphone Snail (Lobby/Tidal Siege), Rainbow Fish (Flower Forest), and Sword Fish (East Town). After testing all three Epic fish against grinding Common catches, the XP gap between rarity tiers is large enough that chasing Epics consistently outpaces farming Common fish even accounting for lower catch frequency.

What rewards does fishing unlock?
