Chapter 2 of the DTI Tales of the Dark King quest drops you inside a locked Mansion with one goal: get out before the clock strikes 7:00 AM. The first real obstacle is the Calchas Medallion, and collecting all 5 Clue Posters is how you earn it. Miss even one and the pedestal puzzle stays locked. Here's exactly where to find every poster.
How does the Calchas Medallion work?
The Calchas Medallion sits on a central pedestal in the Mansion, surrounded by six additional pedestals holding shuffled items. Each of the 5 Posters scattered around the map shows a number that corresponds to one of those items. Once you've read all the posters, you rearrange the items onto the correct pedestals using that information. Get the arrangement right and the Medallion unlocks, granting access to the Agamemnon Bedroom.
All 5 Mansion Poster locations
All five posters are found by navigating away from the central pedestal. The route flows logically through the Mansion's courtyard corridor and two side rooms, so following the order below keeps backtracking to a minimum.
Poster 1 at corridor end
Poster 1: end of the courtyard corridor
Walk directly forward from the central pedestal into the open courtyard-like area. Continue along the corridor until you reach the end of the walkable path. The first poster is mounted on the left wall at the far end.
Poster 2: right wall off the corridor
From Poster 1, turn right. The second poster is on the wall to your right, just a short walk from the first one. You don't need to enter any room here.
Poster 3: room on the right, near the wood burner
Keep moving forward past Poster 2 and look for a room entrance on the right side. Step inside and you'll spot the third poster straight ahead, hanging on the wall directly in front of a small wood burner at the center of the room.
Poster 4: same room, left wall near the white statue
Don't leave that room yet. Walk further in toward the white statue standing in the center. The fourth poster is on the left wall beside it.
Poster 5: room on the left side of the courtyard
Head back out to the courtyard and cross to the left side. There's a room mirroring the one you just came from on the right. Enter it and the fifth poster is on the wall, positioned similarly to Posters 3 and 4.
Poster locations at a glance
| Poster | Location | Landmark |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Courtyard corridor, far end | Left wall at the walkable limit |
| 2 | Just right of Poster 1 | Right wall, no room entry needed |
| 3 | Right-side room | Wall facing the wood burner |
| 4 | Right-side room, deeper in | Left wall near white statue |
| 5 | Left-side room off courtyard | Wall inside; puzzle piece also here |
What to do after finding all 5 posters
Once you've noted down every poster's item number, return to the central pedestal. Shuffle the items so each one sits on the pedestal matching the number shown on its corresponding poster. The exact arrangement is different every run, so there's no single universal solution. Match your notes to the pedestals and the Calchas Medallion will unlock.
With the Medallion in hand, the Agamemnon Bedroom opens and you can continue working toward escaping the Mansion before 7:00 AM.
