Manhwa Legends is one of the newer manhwa-inspired tower defense games on Roblox to actually nail the feel of the source material, but pulling the right units and knowing who to invest in is a completely different challenge. The roster splits across DPS, support, and farm roles, and not every unit pulls equal weight. This tier list covers every unit currently in the game, ranked by actual performance across modes, not just early-game impressions.
What do the tier rankings mean in Manhwa Legends?
Every unit here is ranked on three things: raw damage output, how well it scales into late-game and Infinite modes, and how much it contributes to a team. Rarity and acquisition difficulty are deliberately excluded. A unit that takes forever to unlock but transforms your run is still S-tier. A unit that drops on your first summon but falls off by wave 20 is still C-tier.
- S Tier: Meta-defining units that perform at the top in every mode
- A Tier: Strong picks that hold their own solo or in team compositions
- B Tier: Situationally useful units that work in specific builds but struggle in harder end-game content
- C Tier: Units with low damage ceilings or bugs that make them not worth investing in

S-tier DPS: the units carrying your team
Secret Dreamer (Constellation)
Secret Dreamer is the best unit in the game right now, and it's not particularly close. Full AOE damage, clones that apply Shock stuns to enemies, and a massive crit buff from stacking the Terror of the Stars passive make this unit a monster in both wave-clear and Raid boss scenarios. The unlock path runs through Ancient (Regressor): invest in Ancient's skill tree down to the Level 50 and Level 100 abilities, which cause enemies to drop Constellations. Fuse those Constellations and you get Secret Dreamer. The best traits here are Legend or Limit Break.
Song Hwen (Vessel)
If Secret Dreamer is the AOE king, Song Hwen is the single-target specialist. The highest single-target DPS in the game makes Song Hwen the definitive boss killer. Pair with Boss Slayer or Legend traits.
White Wolf (Feral)
White Wolf stacks Critical Chance progressively until crits become unavoidable at 100%, and every crit procs Bleed DoTs that then buff White Wolf further. The damage loop compounds quickly and holds up across every game mode. Limit Break or Assassin traits work best, with Legend as an alternative.
Beast (Primal)
Beast earns its name. Strong damage from the first wave through the end-game, no complex unlock requirements, and consistent performance across all modes. Use Limit Break or Legend traits.
Beylord (Mimicry)
Beylord operates as a pseudo-AOE DPS through passive damage rather than direct abilities, which makes it deceptively strong. It pairs particularly well with Beast and other primary DPS units. Limit Break or Assassin are the go-to traits.
A-tier DPS: strong alternatives worth building
Ha Yori is worth a specific callout. Her passive needs time to stack, but once it hits full capacity she melts through tanky enemies and bosses faster than most pure DPS units. Ancient sits in A-tier primarily because of his role in unlocking Secret Dreamer rather than his standalone damage, though he does scale well in longer matches with enough Won invested.
B-tier DPS: situational picks that can work
Infernum is the most interesting B-tier pick because it functions as both a damage dealer and a pseudo-support for Fire-type teams. The Burn amplification on enemies benefits your other Fire units, which can make an all-Fire comp surprisingly effective. Outside that specific context, though, the numbers don't hold up in harder content.
Kim Dakjo also deserves attention here. Timestop is one of the strongest single abilities in the game for crowd control, and the passive that copies other units' abilities makes Kim adaptable in ways most B-tier units are not. He appears in the S-tier Support list for good reason.
C-tier DPS: save your resources
Neither unit is worth significant investment. Creator has an interesting mechanic that works early but doesn't scale, and Pildo Gang simply doesn't produce competitive numbers at any point in the game.
Best support units in Manhwa Legends
Support units in Manhwa Legends aren't just passive buffers. The best ones actively change how your DPS units perform, and a few are genuinely required for top-tier team compositions.
Ha Yora is the support unit you build around. The Floating Nodes ability pushes damage numbers up for every DPS unit on your team, and investing through her skill tree unlocks additional effects on those nodes. She's the reason coordinated teams pull ahead in Raid content.

Which units should beginners prioritize?
If you're just starting out, the meta S-tier units aren't always accessible immediately. The best early options are Jong Youngha, Kuma, Wraithsinker, and Lee-Joh for DPS and general use. For support, Violet Grace, Loid (Master), and Wraithsinker give you a solid foundation.
Loid (Master) specifically is the strongest farming unit in the game and worth investing in early. More resources mean faster upgrades, which accelerates your path toward the meta units.
How do traits work in Manhwa Legends?
Traits modify how a unit performs and are assigned separately from the unit's base abilities. The most common high-value traits across the tier list are:
- Legend: The default best-in-slot for most units; broad damage and stat improvements
- Limit Break: Pushes damage ceilings higher; best on units that already have strong base output
- Boss Slayer: Multiplies damage against boss-type enemies; essential on dedicated boss killers
- Assassin: Increases burst damage; works well on crit-focused units like White Wolf
- Ruler: Solid all-around pick; best on Cherry
- Swiftness: Primarily useful on Ancient to speed up his regression mechanic
- Hustler: Farm-specific trait for economy units like Loid and Mint
