To progress quickly in Throw Food For Animals, train Throw Power, aim near 20 on the throwing meter, and reinvest your animal income in better training equipment and food. Put your animals in your base so they earn money, then expand when space becomes a problem. This Roblox simulator rewards balancing distance with food quality: stronger throws reach new biomes, while better food attracts rarer animals. Your early goal is to build an income stream that funds both, rather than spending everything on one upgrade path.

What should you upgrade first?

Prioritize your pull-up bar after completing the tutorial. Better bars build Throw Power faster, helping you reach more distant biomes and their more valuable animals. Keep food upgrades moving alongside training, then increase base capacity when you need space for additional earners.

Your next purchase should address the part of progression that is holding you back:

What's slowing you down? What to focus onWhy it helps
Your throws keep landing in nearby areasTrain Throw Power and upgrade your barMore power increases throwing distance
You have neglected food upgradesBuy a higher-tier foodBetter food helps attract rarer animals
Your base cannot hold more animalsBuy a base size upgradeEach upgrade adds 2 animal spaces
Unwanted animals are taking up roomSell through the stand or Animals menuYou can remove animals you no longer want
You're spending too long finishing one biome's collectionContinue training and reaching new biomesLater biomes offer better animals for income

Your first-session priorities

Use the free Carrot to start collecting, then establish the loop that pays for everything else:

  • Complete the tutorial to unlock the pull-up bar.
  • Train Throw Power and upgrade the bar when you can afford it.
  • Throw food, aiming as close to 20 as possible.
  • Place collected animals in your pen to generate money.
  • Buy better food and expand your base as your collection grows.

How do you throw food farther?

Throwing distance depends on your trained strength and your timing in the throwing minigame. Throw Power improves your reach, while a well-timed throw helps you make better use of that training.

Upgrade the pull-up bar and use training events

The pull-up bar attached to your base becomes available after the tutorial. Exercise there to build Throw Power, and replace the starter bar with upgrades so training progresses faster.

You can train while AFK, but active training has a benefit: clickable pop-up events temporarily double your training speed. Watch for those events while you are at the bar.

Aim for 20 on the throwing meter

The throwing minigame uses a meter ranging from 0 to 20. Tap when the value is as high as possible. A result closer to 20 sends your food farther, helping you reach more distant parts of the map.

Once the food lands, an animal can pick it up, allowing you to collect that animal as a pet. Return to your base and place it in the pen so it contributes to your income.

Which food should you buy first?

Buy food at the blue-and-white Food Shop immediately to the left of your base entrance. Food affects the animals you can attract, so throwing a starter Carrot farther is only part of the upgrade loop.

A useful early buying plan is to save toward a higher food tier instead of treating every purchase within your current tier as mandatory. Toast, for example, is the first Tier 2 option at $4K in in-game cash. That gives you a clear early savings target after the Tier 1 starter foods.

The food progression extends across 38 items and 16 tiers, ending with Cosmic options such as Ghost Chowder, Calamari Rings, and Phantom Lobster. With 128 animals to collect, food upgrades remain relevant well beyond your first few biomes.

If you also play Ride a Pet, its food items and buying guide covers that game's food XP, rarities, and purchase costs.

How do you earn more money from animals?

Place collected animals in your base's pen to generate passive income. Better animals earn more money, so your collection needs to improve as you reach farther biomes and buy higher-tier food.

Throw Food For Animals also generates income while you are offline. Keeping your base stocked with money-making animals therefore supports your next upgrades even while you are away.

Expand when you need more earning spaces

The base size upgrade button sits just to the right of your base entrance. Each purchase increases capacity by 2 animals, letting you keep more income-producing animals at once.

Capacity upgrades are useful when your base is full, but bar and food upgrades still matter. More spaces let you hold more animals; better training and food help you collect more valuable ones to place in those spaces.

Sell animals you no longer want

You have two ways to sell unwanted animals:

  • Visit the red-and-white sell stand to the right of the food-throwing area.
  • Open the Animals menu on the right side of the screen and sell there.

Use selling to manage unwanted animals as your collection improves. Base expansion and selling serve different purposes: one increases how many animals you can hold, while the other helps you clear out animals you do not want to keep.

For another animal-income game, the Steal an Egg beginner guide explains its egg-stealing, hatching, and base-building loop.

Which biomes will you reach as you progress?

Throw Food For Animals has 15 zones. Increasing Throw Power lets your food reach farther areas, where you can attract stronger and rarer animals. The zone order gives you a useful sense of where your distance progression is heading.

Zone orderBiomes
1 to 5Forest, Savanna, Desert, Jungle, Ocean
6 to 10Mountains, Taiga, Winter, Prehistoric Forest, Deep Waters
11 to 15Ancient Ruins, Mythical Paradise, Shadow Realm, Harvest Fields, Phantom Harbor

Treat reaching a new biome as a reason to keep improving your collection, rather than immediately stopping to catch everything there. Better animals in farther zones can help fund the training and food needed for continued progress.

Is completing the Animal Index worth it?

The Animal Index tracks your collection and is accessible through its button on the left side of the screen. Completing a biome's animal collection lets you claim an additional cash reward.

For early money farming, prioritize reaching better biomes over chasing every missing animal in your current one. Index rewards are useful, but hunting a full collection can take longer than progressing toward more valuable animals.

If collecting all 128 animals is your main goal, the Animal Index gives you a reason to revisit unfinished collections. If faster income is the priority, focus first on stronger animals and enough base capacity to hold them.

Are there any Throw Food For Animals codes?

As of October 31, 2026, Throw Food For Animals had no active codes, no expired codes, and no code-redemption system. Your progression comes through training, collecting animals, and reinvesting their income.

After game updates, check the official Roblox game page and the Goofy Chupacabra group for announcements about code support. A future redemption feature has not been announced.

Keep your immediate plan simple: upgrade the pull-up bar, aim near 20, save for better food tiers, and give your animals space to earn. For help with your next game, explore the Roblox strategy guide collection.
