- Locate the displayed Duskwire Rod to the left of Ken Carson.
- Activate a Tropical Squall Totem and equip your own Duskwire Rod.

How do you remove the Oppressor Rod’s restriction?
Complete Impermanent Distress, then return to Tormentor and pay the restriction-removal fee. The quest requires all four objectives:
- Catch 1 Fallen Scolopendra.
- Catch an Olympian Devil using the Duskwire Rod, with no companion equipped.
- Catch 35 Legendary or Mythical fish carrying the Oppressed mutation in Crystal Cove.
- Parry 75 projectiles.

- Catch a Veiled Charybdis using the Flimsy Rod.
- Catch an Oscar Rusty Bolt.
- Retrieve the Great Blade from behind the Olympian Godbreaker Rod, inside the Olympian Fissure Portal.
- Make the final payment.
- Return and pass through the fog to claim the Black Fairy Rod.
