To get the Record Breaker Rod in Fisch on Roblox, complete Tyrce's first two collection quests inside the Underground Music Venue. Those quests award a restricted version. Fully unlocking it requires World Tour, which asks for 120 seconds of Locked In fishing at each of seven locations. The collection tasks demand several specific rods, mutations, and appraisal results, so this is a quest worth preparing for. Gather your equipment first, separate the direct-catch requirement from the appraisal jobs, and save the pond circuit for last.
What should you prepare before starting Tyrce's quest?
Record Breaker arrived with Venue Encore as a limited-time rod. Its collection objectives call for the Titanium Rod, Stellarwave Melody Rod, Zeus's Thundermaul, Blazebringer Rod, and Eidolon Rod. Each handles a different mutation requirement, so one fishing setup will not cover the entire questline.
Keep Magnet Bait, Snare, and Garbage available for the relevant catches. You will also need the Appraiser for the Shiny Infernal Fragment, Shiny Synth DJ Spinopus, and Shiny Sparkling Bog Skulker. Catching the right species is only part of those objectives.
If you are choosing your next rod project, compare this equipment checklist with the Dutchman's Rod unlock requirements before committing to Tyrce's collection tasks.
Where do you find Tyrce in the Underground Music Venue?
Tyrce stands on the left side of the Underground Music Venue's stage, beneath the staircase. Speak to him there to begin the Record Breaker questline.
If you still need access to the venue, follow this route:
- Enter a Mysterious Pool to reach Vertigo.
- Complete the Vertigo Bestiary and obtain the Depth's Key to enter The Depths.
- Find the cave tunnel at GPS X: 1100, Y: -700, Z: 1400 and follow it to Crystal Cove.
- Place a Chaotic Enchanted Relic on the white crystal in the center of Crystal Cove.
- Enter the trapdoor that opens at the area's edge to reach the Underground Music Venue.
How do you finish Getting Started?
Tyrce's first quest, Getting Started, combines three mutated material deliveries with a Shiny Infernal Fragment. The Mineshaft covers both Rusty Bolts and Iron Chunks, so handle those together while changing rods between objectives.
Collect the mutated materials
| Required delivery | Where to fish | Equipment and mutation requirement |
|---|---|---|
| 5 Titanium Rusty Bolts | Mineshaft | Use Magnet Bait with the Titanium Rod, which has a 25% chance to apply Titanium |
| 5 Melody Iron Chunks | Mineshaft | Use Magnet Bait with the Stellarwave Melody Rod for Melody |
| 5 Electrified Scrap Metals | Mineshaft, The Depths, Crystal Cove, or Collapsed Ruins during daytime | Use Zeus's Thundermaul during its Electrified State |
The Crescendo Mastery Enchantment can improve your chances of getting the required mutation for the Melody Iron Chunks. For Electrified Scrap Metal, pay attention to Zeus's Thundermaul's state rather than simply equipping the rod and fishing indefinitely.
Obtain the Shiny Infernal Fragment
Use Crab Cage Mining inside Scoria Mines to obtain an Infernal Fragment, which has a 5% acquisition chance through that activity. Once you have one, take it to the Appraiser and continue appraising until it gains Shiny.
Keep this task separate from the Mineshaft fishing loop. The Infernal Fragment comes through mining in Scoria Mines, while the other three objectives require mutated catches.
How do you complete Out of Tunes?
Out of Tunes asks for four different returns, including two Phantom Speed Cores that must be caught directly. Deal with that restriction carefully: it is different from catching a fish and then appraising it for an attribute.
Catch the Phantom Speed Cores directly
Fish at Sunstone Island using the Eidolon Rod until you catch 2 Phantom Speed Cores. The rod has a 35% chance to apply Phantom, and Speed Cores have no preferred bait or weather requirement.
Complete the remaining fish deliveries
| Required return | Location | Fishing setup and conditions |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Cracked Treble Bass | Moosewood | Blazebringer Rod with Magnet Bait |
| 1 Shiny Synth DJ Spinopus | Crystal Cove | Stellarwave Melody Rod with Snare; target clear weather, nighttime, and summer or spring |
| 1 Shiny Sparkling Bog Skulker | Toxic Grove | Any rod with Garbage; target rain, nighttime, and autumn |
For the DJ Spinopus, use the Stellarwave Melody Rod for the required Synth catch, then visit the Appraiser until it gains Shiny. The weather, season, time, and bait setup above gives you a clear checklist before casting at Crystal Cove.
For the Bog Skulker, the final return needs both Shiny and Sparkling. Catch it at Toxic Grove, then use the Appraiser to obtain that combination. A Bog Skulker with only one of those attributes does not match Tyrce's request.
The Cracked Treble Bass is the straightforward rod-and-bait objective in this group: fish at Moosewood with the Blazebringer Rod and Magnet Bait.
Completing Getting Started and Out of Tunes earns the Record Breaker Rod. You can then move on to its fishing minigame and the final unlock stage.
How do you finish World Tour and fully unlock Record Breaker?
The World Tour objectives require 120 seconds of fishing while Locked In at each of seven locations. Across the entire circuit, that adds up to 840 seconds, or 14 minutes, of qualifying fishing time. Collection work, travel, and time spent entering Locked In are extra.
Enter Locked In through the vinyl minigame
Record Breaker's fishing minigame displays a vinyl disc, a white bar, and colored scoring zones. Click when the white bar lines up with a purple or yellow zone:
- A purple hit awards 1 point.
- A yellow hit awards 2 points.
- Reaching 7 points activates Locked In.
Yellow hits give twice the points of purple hits, so they are the better target when you can time them reliably. Keep succeeding at the skill checks to maintain Locked In while fishing.
Complete every World Tour location
Track each destination separately. Every location below needs its own 120 seconds of Locked In fishing:
- Roslit Pond
- Moosewood Pond
- Forsaken Shores Pond
- Evertun Forest
- Ancient Isle Pond
- Snowcap Pond
- Boreal Hollow
At each World Tour stop, focus on the vinyl timing rather than simply leaving your line in the water. The requirement is fishing while Locked In, so maintaining that state is what advances the task.
What are the Record Breaker Rod's stats and passives?
Record Breaker combines 227% Luck with a timing-based buff that also benefits nearby anglers. If collecting limited rods is your next goal, the guide to wishing for limited rods covers a separate collection route.
| Stat | Base value |
|---|---|
| Lure Speed | 70% |
| Luck | 227% |
| Control | 0.22 |
| Resilience | 27% |
| Maximum weight | Infinite |
| Disturbance | +2 |
What do Rewind and Locked In provide?
Record Breaker has a 30% chance to apply the Rewind mutation. That mutation chance is separate from the Locked In bonuses, which reward successful timing in the vinyl minigame.
During Locked In, the rod provides the following buffs for 30 seconds to you and nearby anglers, who become Bystanders:
- Fishing stats: +50% Luck, +30% Lure Speed, +0.05 Control, +5% Forced Progress Speed, and +2.5 Disturbance.
- Catch bonuses: +25% Fish Weight, +5% Shiny Chance, and +5% Sparkling Chance.
- Soundblast: a 15% chance to Soundblast the fish when it moves.
The Bystander effect gives Record Breaker a clear group benefit, while its own performance depends on keeping up with the timing mechanic. Treat the World Tour circuit as practice for maintaining Locked In, not just another delivery checklist. Quest requirements and rod values may change with later updates.
Once both collection quests and all seven World Tour stops are finished, your Record Breaker unlock is complete. For another quest rod to pursue, follow the Omniscient Spinecaster Rod guide and work through its ritual requirements.
