Sea 2 dropped for Sailor Piece on April 18, 2026, and it brought a serious amount of new content: new weapons, new islands, Relics, Sea Beasts, Guilds, Bloodlines, and a raised level cap of 16,000. Getting there is not automatic, though. You need to clear a two-part quest before that World Island door opens for you.
How do you start the Sea 2 quest in Sailor Piece?
Before anything else, teleport to World Island. Once there, find the Sea Traveler NPC and interact with them to start the quest. There is one requirement worth noting upfront: you cannot have another quest active when you do this. If something else is running, close it first, then talk to the Sea Traveler.
The quest splits into two parallel objectives you need to finish before Sea 2 opens up.
What are the two tasks to reach Sea 2?
Both tasks must be completed to proceed. Here is what each one involves:
Task 1: Find Lost Fragments
You need to collect 2 Ancient Fragments. These items spawn at fixed locations across the islands, but the timing is tight. Each fragment spawns on a 1 minute 30 second cycle and despawns after 5 minutes if nobody picks it up. That means you need to move between the known spawn spots rather than camping a single location.

Because fragments despawn after 5 minutes, plan your route between spawn points before you start. Waiting at one spot and hoping for a second spawn is slower than rotating between locations.
Task 2: Map Reconstruction
Alongside the fragments, you need to collect 5 map pieces. These only drop from specific world bosses in Sea 1, and the eligible bosses are not the same for every player. You will need to work through Sea 1 boss encounters to identify which ones are dropping pieces for your account.

What happens after you finish both tasks?
Once both objectives are done, a completion notification should appear on screen. Some players have reported that this notification fails to trigger due to a glitch. If that happens to you, do not panic. Teleport back to World Island and interact with the Sea 2 door directly. The door checks your quest progress independently, so you can enter even if the notification never showed up.

New weapons
Sea 2 adds 4 new weapons in total. On the Melee side, you get Cosmic Being and The World. The two new Swords are Dragon Goddess and Great Mage. Unlocking them follows the same pattern as previous weapons: new bosses, new materials to farm.

There are 4 new islands in the update: World Island, Sea 1 Island, Sea 2 Island, and Easter Island (available during the Easter event only). The major new world boss on Sea 2 is the Cosmic Being.
Guilds are now accessible to players on the Sea 2 world. Bloodlines are also available in Sea 2, and you earn Bloodline Stones by defeating NPCs in that area.
Relics
Relics are a new equipment type found exclusively in Sea 2. To get started, speak with the Relic Crafter NPC. Relic Parts drop from enemies in the Sea 2 area at a low rate, so expect to grind for them. Once crafted, you equip Relics by scrolling through your inventory.

Sea Beasts

The level cap increased to 16,000. The Bounty Cap also went up to 50,000,000. Both changes give players meaningful long-term goals to work toward once they arrive in Sea 2.
Easter Event
Running alongside the Sea 2 launch, the Easter Event takes place on Easter Island. Completing the Easter Questline unlocks the Easter Shop, where you can spend currency on Easter Upgrades. This is a limited-time event, so it runs only for a set window.

Beyond the headline features, the Sea 2 Update also added new bosses, titles, cosmetics, auras, accessories, and a new power. A fresh batch of codes was also released with the update, which is standard practice for major Sailor Piece patches.
