The Outer Space Tour is the final destination in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and getting there takes real dedication. This is not something that happens by accident. You need to hit a specific milestone at the Wishing Fountain, and once you do, a rocket launches, the credits roll, and your chosen Mii comes back with a treasure that cannot be found anywhere else in the game.
How do you unlock the Outer Space Tour?
The trigger is straightforward: make the 100th wish at your Wishing Fountain. Completing that 100th wish hands you the Outer Space Tour ticket, which you can then assign to any Mii on your island.

Hit wish 100 to unlock
The Wishing Fountain is one of the most important facilities you can have active, so if you have not unlocked it yet, that should be your first priority. Our full guide on how to unlock all shops and facilities covers every building you need to open and exactly how to do it.
What are the Outer Space Tour rewards?
Three things happen once you send a Mii on the Outer Space Tour:
- End credits play. Launching the rocket triggers the game's ending sequence. Finishing it does not lock you out of anything. You can keep playing indefinitely after the credits roll.
- Alien treasure drop. When the tour ends, the participating Mii brings back one of three exclusive items: an Alpha, Beta, or Gamma alien treasure. These are the only treasures in the game that are locked behind this specific tour.
- Photo opportunities. During the tour, your Mii poses for photos up to three times. Each picture can be saved directly to your system's album.

Rocket launch begins credits
The alien treasure you receive is not guaranteed to be a specific variant. The Alpha, Beta, and Gamma outcomes appear to be random, so you may need to send multiple Miis on the tour if you want to collect all three types.
How do you get to 100 wishes faster?
The most direct path is keeping your Miis happy and active. Happy Miis generate more wishes over time, which means leveling them up quickly has a compounding effect on your wish count. Feeding favorites, solving thought bubbles, and giving gifts all push happiness up fast. Our guide on how to raise happiness fast breaks down the most efficient methods for each.
Do not neglect your Wishing Fountain in favor of other buildings early on. Wishes are the direct path to the Outer Space Tour, so having the fountain active and generating wishes from the start saves significant time later.
Having more Miis on your island also helps since each one contributes to the wish total. Expanding your island to accommodate more residents directly speeds up your progress toward 100 wishes. The full breakdown of how that process works is in the island expansion guide.
Does finishing the Outer Space Tour end the game?
The credits rolling can feel like a hard stop, but it is not. After the sequence finishes, the game continues exactly as before. All your Miis stay on the island, all your progress remains intact, and you can keep sending Miis on the Outer Space Tour to collect the remaining alien treasure variants you have not received yet.
For everything else the game has to offer beyond this milestone, the full Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream guide collection covers every system in detail, from relationships and minigames to island building and rare unlockables.
