Warframe added the Afentis Prime alongside Styanax Prime in the Jade Shadows: Constellations update, and it comes with a catch: two of the four relics you need are Rare drops. That means this isn't a quick weekend farm. But with the right nodes and some smart matchmaking, you can cut the grind down significantly. Here's exactly what you need and where to find it.
What are all the Afentis Prime Relics?
The Afentis Prime requires four separate components, each locked behind a different relic tier. Here's the full breakdown:
Two Rare components means you'll likely need multiple relic cracks before both the Blueprint and Blade drop. Plan accordingly and prioritize Radiant refinements on the Axi A22 and Meso A12 before running those Void Fissures.
Where to farm each relic tier

Afentis Prime blueprint relic
Lith Relics: Hepit, Void
The Hepit capture node in the Void is the fastest Lith source in the game. Runs take under a minute with a speed-focused build, and every completed mission drops a guaranteed Lith Relic. If you need Lith Q3 copies, this is where you'll spend most of your time building a stockpile.
Meso Relics: Ukko or Olympus
Two solid options here. The Ukko node in the Void is a reliable Meso source and easy to run repeatedly. If you want variety, the Disruption mission on Olympus in Mars also drops Meso Relics consistently. Either works; pick whichever you find faster with your current loadout.
Neo Relics: Ur, Uranus
The Ur node on Uranus runs a Disruption mission with three rotations. You're guaranteed a Neo Relic on both the B and C rotations, so staying in for full runs rather than extracting early is worth it. Bring a frame that handles Disruption well since the mission demands more attention than a simple capture.

Picking the right Fissure node
Axi Relics: Apollo, Lua
Apollo on Lua is a Disruption mission with three rotations, and like Ur, it guarantees an Axi Relic on the B and C rotations. Lua's enemies hit harder than Uranus, so bring a survivable build or a frame with good crowd control. The payout is worth it given that the Axi A22 holds the Rare Blueprint.
How do Void Fissures work for cracking relics?
Once you have relics, you need Void Fissures to open them. The process works like this:
- Equip the relic you want to crack before entering a Void Fissure mission
- Kill enemies to collect 10 Reactant during the mission
- At mission end, you and any squadmates each reveal one reward from your respective relics
- You can select any revealed reward, not just your own
That last point is where matchmaking becomes your biggest advantage. Running with three other players who have the same relic means four chances to see the Rare component per crack. For the Axi A22 and Meso A12, joining a Radshare squad (everyone runs Radiant versions of the same relic) is the most efficient approach by a wide margin.

Is Prime Access worth it instead?
If grinding relics sounds exhausting, Prime Access offers a direct shortcut. The Styanax Weapons Prime Access pack is the cheapest option and grants immediate access to the Afentis Prime without farming a single relic. The tradeoff is real money versus time, and with two Rare components in the drop table, this weapon can take noticeably longer to farm than most prime weapons.
For players who already grabbed Styanax Prime through Prime Resurgence events, the weapon grind is the remaining piece. Check the guide on Nova Prime and Prime Resurgence farming to see how Aya and relic-cracking strategies from those events overlap with the approach here.
Farming priority
If you're starting from zero, here's the order that makes the most sense:
- Step 1: Run Hepit (Void) repeatedly to stockpile Lith Q3 relics
- Step 2: Farm Meso A12 from Ukko (Void) or Olympus (Mars)
- Step 3: Grind Neo C8 from Ur (Uranus) Disruption, staying through all rotations
- Step 4: Farm Axi A22 from Apollo (Lua) Disruption, staying through all rotations
- Step 5: Refine Axi A22 and Meso A12 to Radiant using Void Traces
- Step 6: Join Radshare squads for Rare components, solo or unrefined for Common and Uncommon
The Handle (Common, Lith Q3) and Barrel (Uncommon, Neo C8) will likely drop before you finish chasing the two Rares, so don't stress about those early.
