Scoria's Angel is one of two new Railjack quests added to Warframe alongside the Constellations update. The quest splits into three distinct phases: a space combat segment, a ship boarding and escort mission, and a final boss encounter against Ryoku. Each phase flows directly into the next, so there's no backtracking or open-world navigation involved.

Part 1: Space combat in the Asteroid Field
The first phase puts you in the pilot seat. Navigate toward the quest marker to close the distance on an enemy ship, then destroy the gun emplacements around its perimeter. Depending on the run, you may also need to take out a few smaller escort ships before the mission advances.
Once those are down, the objective shifts to intercepting cargo on two separate ships. You don't need to destroy the ships themselves; just target the cargo attached to their rear sections. Destroy both cargo loads and the next step unlocks.
The final space task is disabling a ship's cloak. Use your Forward Artillery to strip the cloak, then board the vessel. That's the transition into Phase 2.
Part 2: Raiding the ship
Once aboard, your job is to escort Vena to a marked terminal so she can complete a hack. Enemies will constantly block her path, and she won't push forward until the area is clear. Stay ahead of her and eliminate threats before they slow her down.
After the hack, disable security from a nearby terminal and move to the next marked location. Here you'll face an enemy boss. Kill it, and a wave of weaker minions spawns in. These minions drop Canisters, which are needed to complete the Ice Hardening process. Keep clearing waves until you've collected the required number. The process takes a few minutes, so don't rush off expecting it to end quickly.

Part 3: Defeat Ryoku
With Ice Hardening complete, follow the quest marker to the Ramsleds and use them to reach Ryoku's ship. Inside, you'll fight through Shadow Clones of Ryoku before reaching the final arena. Watch for laser gates and traps along the route; they deal serious damage and can catch you off guard if you're sprinting through.
In the final room, Ryoku himself spawns alongside more clones. Some of those clones drop Power Cells when killed. Collect 3 Power Cells and throw them at the main terminal in the room. After that, Ryoku becomes vulnerable and you can finish the fight normally.
Running this with a full squad of four makes the Ryoku encounter straightforward. The clones go down quickly with coordinated fire, and Power Cell collection is faster when multiple players are covering the room.
What rewards does Scoria's Angel give you?
The primary reward from Scoria's Angel runs is Crimson Talents, which are the special tokens you need to buy items from Hunhow at the Pontis Towers. Community data puts the yield at roughly 13 to 16 Talents per run, though individual results can vary. After a couple of clears, the token grind moves at a solid pace.

Tips for faster runs
- Run with a squad of four when possible. The Ryoku fight and Canister collection both scale better with more players.
- You can use Vena's Railjack if you don't have your own built up yet, which removes the gear-check barrier for newer players.
- The laser gate traps in Ryoku's ship are the most common source of unexpected deaths. Slow down in the corridors.
