Best Jewelry in Windrose

Jewelry in Windrose is one of the more overlooked parts of a strong build, but a well-upgraded ring or necklace can make a real difference when you're pushing harder content. Rings typically push a specific damage type higher, making them ideal for weapon-focused builds, while necklaces add flat stat bonuses that scale across your whole setup. Neither piece crafts itself, though. You'll need to clear a major threat, gather specific materials, and build the right station before any of this is possible.

What do you need before crafting jewelry?

Before you can craft or upgrade a single piece of jewelry, you need the Jewelry Table. This station is locked behind clearing the Coastal Jungle threat, which means defeating Thomas Richards, the Coastal Jungle boss. There's no shortcut here. Until that boss is down, the Jewelry Table simply isn't available to you.

Once the Coastal Jungle threat is cleared, you can build the table using:

  • 10 Wood
  • 5 Foothills Iron Ingots
  • 3 Silver

Foothills Iron Ingots come from Iron Deposits found in the Foothills region. Silver drops occasionally from quests, but if you need it in bulk, Blackbeard Crew Maps are your best source. These maps are scattered in chests across the world and reliably reward Silver when completed.

How to place and use the Jewelry Table

With your materials ready, press B to enter Building Mode, then right-click to open the Building Panel. The Jewelry Table sits under the Jewelry section. Place it under a roof — the table won't function in the open.

Once placed, open the table's crafting menu to see your available recipes. One important rule: you can only craft jewelry you've already found. Picking up a ring or necklace in the world unlocks it as a craftable recipe. No discovery, no craft.

How do you upgrade jewelry in Windrose?

Upgrading jewelry uses the Ascend tab inside the Jewelry Table. Select the piece you want to improve and the table will show you what's required. Ascending raises both the Rarity and the Stat Bonus of the piece, so it's worth doing on anything you plan to use long-term.

Here's how the material requirements scale with rarity:

Gold is found at Ruin's Excavation Sites in the Foothills. These sites are specific locations, not random drops, so you'll want to make a habit of visiting them as part of your regular Foothills runs.

What's the fastest way to farm Silver and Gold?

Silver and Gold are the two materials that will actually slow your progression if you don't plan for them.

  • Silver: Quest rewards give some, but Blackbeard Crew Maps from world chests are the most reliable high-volume source.
  • Gold: Exclusively from Ruin's Excavation Sites in the Foothills. These are fixed locations, so once you know where they are, farming them becomes straightforward.

There's no real trick here beyond routing your exploration to hit Excavation Sites and opening every chest you find for Blackbeard Crew Maps. The materials aren't rare, but they do require consistent effort.
