Aion 2 has a reputation for demanding constant attention, but the reality is more forgiving than most players expect. Only a handful of activities carry true daily limits. The rest runs on weekly resets, banked caps, or shared server pools that you can work around at your own pace. Knowing which systems expire, which ones stack, and which are shared across your characters is what separates efficient progression from wasted entries and capped resources.
The daily routine is shorter than you might think. Three systems demand regular attention: Duty Missions, Odyle Energy, and Nightmare tickets. Everything else either resets weekly or banks until you need it.

Aion 2 Daily & Weekly Checklist: What to Do Every Login
Duty Missions live under Journal → Duty and are the closest thing Aion 2 has to a traditional daily quest system. You get five per day, and that limit is server-wide, meaning it is shared across every character you run on the same server. Finishing five on your main and then five on an alt does not give you ten missions' worth of rewards.
The missions themselves are quick open-world tasks, usually killing a specific enemy type or a named target. Each one comes with guaranteed rewards and a chance at bonus drops. Prioritize missions that offer Soul Crystals, Hidden Cube Keys, Enhancement materials, or gear. These five missions are almost always the first thing worth clearing after logging in.
Odyle Energy is the fuel behind reward Cube claims after Expeditions, Transcendence runs, and other supported PvE content. Unlike Duty Missions, Odyle Energy is tracked per character rather than per server, so each alt builds its own supply once it clears the first Expedition around Level 22.
Energy regenerates at 15 every three hours. The passive cap depends on your account status:
| Account Type | Odyle Energy Cap |
|---|---|
| No Membership | 560 |
| Special Quai Membership | 840 |
Most endgame reward Cube claims cost 40 Odyle Energy each. A capped bar means you are leaving multiple dungeon rewards on the table every time regeneration ticks. You do not need to run content every single day, but you should spend Energy before the bar hits its ceiling.
Nightmare unlocks at Level 45 and pits you against solo boss encounters. Each character earns two fresh attempts per day, and unused attempts stack up to a maximum of 14. That means you have a full week's worth of buffer before tickets start going to waste.
There is a genuine strategic reason to bank tickets here. A stronger character can clear higher Nightmare tiers and earn better rewards. Spending tickets early on a tier you will outgrow in two days is a real cost. The only rule is to spend them before you hit 14.

The Shugo Festival is a rotating set of short multiplayer minigames that runs throughout the day. Reward Keys regenerate automatically and are shared server-wide across your characters, so running alts does not create separate key pools.
Possible rewards include Soul Crystals, Daevanion-related resources, and collectibles. Keys can be saved for later sessions, but new ones stop accumulating once you hit the cap.
| Activity | Daily Limit | Shared? | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duty Missions | 5 per day | Server-wide | High |
| Odyle Energy | +15 every 3 hours | Per character | High |
| Nightmare | +2 per day, cap at 14 | Per character | High |
| Shugo Festival Keys | Refill daily | Server-wide | Medium |
Most of the meaningful endgame progression runs on weekly timers. Weekly activities reset on Wednesday, though you should check the in-game reset countdown for your region rather than converting times manually.

Ascension Trial is a solo gauntlet where you clear several rooms and then fight a final boss. Each character gets three entries per week, and difficulty selection directly affects the quality of rewards.
If your Item Level is rising quickly, it can pay to hold one or two entries until later in the weekly cycle when you might qualify for a harder tier. The key is making sure all three entries are spent before Wednesday's reset, not hoarding them.
Despite the name, Daily Dungeon: Unknown Fissure runs on a weekly entry pool of 14, shared across the server. The activity gives you a countdown timer to defeat as many enemies as possible, with your final score setting the reward tier.
Because your character generally gets stronger as the week progresses, saving a portion of entries for later sessions tends to produce better scores. Just do not let them expire.
Battlefield is Aion 2's equalized PvP mode. Stats are standardized inside the activity, so your gear level does not determine the outcome the way it does in open-world PvP. Each character can earn the weekly victory reward up to three times.
For players maintaining alts, those three wins can be completed separately on each character. PvE-focused players can treat Battlefield as optional, but the weekly rewards are worth the time investment if you can spare it.
The Command Merchant in your faction's main area sells weekly Command Missions. The server-wide limit is 12 per week. These function like Duty Missions, sending you into the open world for simple objectives, but the scrolls can be stored and completed at any point after purchase.
The Abyss has its own merchant with up to 20 Abyss Command scrolls available per server each week, split across several tiers. Completing these rewards Abyss Points, Enhancement Stones, Stigma-related materials, and other PvP progression resources. PvP-focused players should prioritize these. PvE players can pick them up when they need Abyss Points or specific materials.
The key action for both merchants is buying the scrolls before the shop resets, even if you plan to complete them later.
Open Substance Morph each week and check the Odyle Energy recipes. The current Global limits are four crafts per character and 16 crafts per server. Each crafted item restores additional Odyle Energy.
| Craft Limit | Amount |
|---|---|
| Per character | 4 |
| Per server | 16 |
The server-wide crafts are best made on your main character. Each alt can use its own four-craft allowance separately. For players running multiple Expeditions or Transcendence dungeons weekly, these crafts translate directly into more reward Cube claims.

Players with Special Quai Membership can access the Wind Breeze Merchants directly through the menu. Stock includes Odyle Energy, Daily Dungeon-related items, Soul Crystals, potions, and other consumables, with some items resetting weekly.
Purchase limits and available stock can change between updates, so check the Special tab before Wednesday rather than relying on a shopping list from a previous week.
Winning an Artifact Siege gives your faction control of an Artifact and access to an Abyss Corridor, a short solo activity where you kill as many monsters as possible within a time limit for Kina and Abyss Points. Each controlled Artifact provides another Corridor opportunity.
These entries must be used before control changes at the next Artifact Siege. Siege schedules vary by region, so follow the current in-game event schedule.
Supply Requests ask you to turn in specific equipment, crafting materials, or gathered resources in exchange for rewards including Abyss Points. There are daily, weekly, and longer-term request categories.
| Weekly Activity | Weekly Goal |
|---|---|
| Ascension Trial | 3 entries per character |
| Unknown Fissure | 14 entries (server-wide) |
| Battlefield | 3 victory rewards per character |
| Command Missions | Buy 12 (server-wide) |
| Abyss Commands | Buy up to 20 (server-wide) |
| Odyle Energy Morph | 4 per character + 16 per server |
| Wind Breeze Merchant | Check weekly stock |
| Abyss Corridors | Use before control shifts |
| Supply Requests | Check and compare rewards |
Field Bosses spawn on scheduled timers and can drop useful equipment and materials. They are worth joining when one appears while you are already online, but most players do not need to structure their entire day around spawn windows. Abyss bosses are more relevant for players actively pushing PvP progression.
Aion 2 splits activities between server-wide limits and per-character limits, which makes alt management a real consideration.
| Activity | Server-Wide | Per Character |
|---|---|---|
| Duty Missions | Yes | No |
| Unknown Fissure | Yes | No |
| Command Missions | Yes | No |
| Shugo Festival Keys | Yes | No |
| Odyle Energy | No | Yes |
| Nightmare | No | Yes |
| Ascension Trial | No | Yes |
| Battlefield Wins | No | Yes |
| Odyle Energy Character Craft | No | Yes |
The takeaway: running alts through server-wide content wastes entries that your main could have used. Focus alt time on systems with separate per-character limits, particularly Odyle Energy, Nightmare, Ascension Trial, and Battlefield wins.
For players joining around the Global launch, the priority is unlocking systems that regenerate resources passively.
If you plan to run alts, bring each one to roughly Level 22 first. That unlocks the initial Expedition and starts Odyle Energy regeneration on each character. After that, push your main toward Level 45.
Once your main hits Level 45:
Players who are not planning alts can skip straight to Level 45 on the main.

Aion 2 Daily & Weekly Checklist: What to Do Every Login
Daily: Log in, complete 5 Duty Missions, check Odyle Energy and Nightmare ticket levels, spend any capped resources, then continue whatever content your character currently needs.
Weekly (before Wednesday reset): Ascension Trial entries, Unknown Fissure entries, Battlefield wins, Command Mission shop, Abyss Command shop, Odyle Energy Substance Morph, Wind Breeze Merchant, Abyss Corridors, Supply Requests, and any Season or Daeva Pass objectives close to completion.
The most common mistake is treating every system as a mandatory daily chore. Duty Missions are the only true daily commitment. Most other progression organizes naturally around caps and the Wednesday reset once you know which resources expire and which ones wait.
