The Sword of Bravery in Aniimo looks like a weapon but functions as a quest trigger. Pull it from the stone at the center of the Russet Highlands arena and you will immediately face a boss fight, watch your Helmut evolve into Pawney, and unlock that evolution permanently for every Helmut you catch afterward. Where is the Sword of Bravery located?
The Sword of Bravery sits at the center of a circular arena ruin in the eastern part of the Russet Highlands, embedded inside a large rock formation called the Dragonclaw Stone. This is also the same zone where the Omega Infergon weekly boss spawns, so you may have spotted the arena already without knowing what it was for.
You cannot simply walk in and pull the sword out as a free exploration activity. The game locks the interaction behind active quest progress, so if the sword does nothing when you interact with it, that means you have not yet reached the correct point in the questline.

How to start the Warrior quest
The quest begins with an NPC painter named Sorora, standing at an easel near the Rainbow Woods teleport point in the Russet Highlands, west of the First Sight Sanctum. Her map coordinates are approximately (-0678, 1607).
Talk to Sorora and exhaust her dialogue. She explains that she is restoring a damaged painting depicting the legend of Infergon and needs help tracking down clues scattered across the region. This opens the Warrior section under "The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons" in your Journey menu.
If you have already spoken to Sorora previously, just check your Journey menu and pick up from wherever the quest marker currently sits.
How to find the painting clues
With the quest active, follow the markers through two key encounters on the mountain path above Twister Peaks.

Step 1: Find the Weeping Helmut
Head northwest of the Twister Peaks fast travel point. Behind some rubble you will find a Weeping Helmut. You cannot understand it without first Twining with a Helmut of your own. If you do not have one, catch a wild Helmut nearby, then Twine with it before speaking to the Weeping Helmut again. After a short exchange, it will flee up the mountain.
Step 2: Follow the Hiding Helmut up the mountain
Track the quest marker further up the path to a second Helmut. Keep your Twine active. This Helmut explains the legend: a Pawney once left a powerful sword in the stone, and any Helmut brave enough to pull it out will evolve into Pawney and earn the power to defeat Infergon.
Step 3: Investigate the exhausted Helmut
Continue to the summit clearing. You will find an unconscious Helmut on the ground. Check on it, then interact with the ground beside it. The camera will pan toward the nearby arena shrouded in pink mist, pointing you to your next destination.
How to pull the Sword of Bravery out
Enter the arena and locate the Dragonclaw Stone at its center. Hit it with a strong damage-dealing skill to shatter it and expose the sword's purple hilt. The game recommends using a Helmut for this, but any Aniimo with enough power will break the rock just fine.
Once the sword is exposed, approach and interact with it. A dialogue sequence begins, and you must choose the most courageous answers at each prompt. The correct responses are listed below.
After the final answer, your Twined Helmut will evolve into Pawney (Nova stage). Do not close the game or leave the area before this sequence completes.

How to defeat Infergon (level 50)
Infergon drops from the sky in a cutscene and the fight begins with no loading screen. It is a pure fire-type Aniimo, which means water-type and rock-type moves deal increased damage against it.
Strong counters for this fight include Magmarex, Grizbo, Minespine, Leafy, Sherro, and Erlath. If you are still running the starter creatures, both Lunara and Helion perform well here as long as they are at an appropriate level. After the fight, interact with the now-empty rock formation at the center of the arena. A Flame Flower has grown in the sword's place. Pick it up to complete the "Revive Pawney's Legend" objective. This Flame Flower is also needed for the Ancient Sacred Fragrance quest later, so do not skip it.

Return to Sorora and claim your rewards
Teleport back to Rainbow Woods and speak with Sorora. Tell her about your encounter with Infergon and Pawney. She will remember the final details of the painting, concluding the Warrior section of the questline.
